You guys are weird. I have hardly any of these problems.

The only thing I don't like about my s13 at this point in time is:

Gas mileageUncomfortable s13 seats (when I had them)

Yup, that's it. My sohc runs great and I have about 190K on the body. Suck it. Most of the problems you guys speak of are from neglect and are pretty easy fixes.

Quit b****ing on the internet and go out there and fix em.

^^ +1 AZ i had most of the problems everyone has mentioned. i fixed them & my car still runs great @ 200k. maintenance & replacing every damn suspension component helped alot too lol! next is a 1-piece drive shaft cuz the bearing on my 2piece is bad & clunks all the time.

I have no complaint about gas mileage. I get 25 in city and 32 highway. My 99 maxima gets 20 to 22 and no better no matter what. I'm so tired of people asking if I have an sr or just asking what I have in it. Nowdays I just say it's stock. I get challenged by every honda around. Even some dude in a corsica was doing that ricer surge forward thing on the highway. I also have the damn high idle that is very hard to pinpoint.

if your sr did you try adjusting the idle air control valve screw thats between the intake manifold?

u can usually adjust the idle a little with that...

p.s when they do the ricer surge thats when you wax em isnt it?

i seriously dont understand all this complaining. My 240 (89) has 410,000 km on the motor and the body. The only problem was the HUD quit so i replaced it. most of the stuff you guys are talking about (like the hood not opening) can be fixed with WD-40.

but i dont get that great gas milage, basically b/c i bag the f*** out of my car all the time (got a stock motor from a 90 to drop in when this one pops)

and yes i can honestly say you get worse gas milage when you drive like you stole it.
