i get around 280 miles for every 13 gallons ( we got a 16 gallon tank). so you guys do the math about my mpg. lolz but before i put the pulley in i was gettin 250. and the most gas mileage that i got with the pulley on was 330 miles per tank, and i still had 3 gallons left when i had to fill up. i got 330 becuase it was pure highway driving. i get 280-300 from driving in traffic and highway.

You guys know that Enjuku makes an 11 lb aluminum driveshaft for our cars (which is half the weight of the stock, 2-piece 22 lb one) for $450....

Now lets see 1/2 lb reduction in rotational mass for the pulley, or 11 lbs for the driveshaft!!!!!!!

Check their site...they have them for 89-94 240's, so I'm assuming it can be bolt in for the KA24E...

the engine doesn't matter, as long as it's the same chasis.

Nice...what would you rate as the best bang for the buck?I was talking to someone who has the fidanza flywheel, aluminum driveshaft, ASP pulley and electric fans...he said the flywheel did the most, then the pulley, then the fans, THEN the driveshaft...kinda makes $450 seem tooooo much!

first gear in mine is pretty brutal as well (when my clutch ain't slippin)

with the driveshaft and flywheel it should make less stress on the drivetrain when shifting right?

well, the flywheels did the most probably...the pulley and drivesaft are about the same. electric fan I didnt notice at all :/ other than no clutch-fan squeal!

my transmission has got some gear lash, coupled with the drivetrain lightening and the B+M shifter, I get a lot of upper-rpm noise...

other than that, its all good.450 may sound like a lot, but I think its worth it. if you want a bargain, I may be selling mine for a custom C/F unit soon.-chet

When I was buying my ASP pulley from RPMOUTLET they offered me a kit of small pulleys for like 80 bucks so neither one of my accessories is underdriven.

Just my 0.02 cents.

-Chet...I would be interested in buying yours used...would it work on an S14? (I know Enjuku distinguishes between the S13/s14 in their sale of the driveshaft). how much would you let it go for?ThanksMarc[email protected]

im not sure if it would work on the S14, It ma be awhile before I sell it, though. I got other things to take care of (like deciding on fixing my body work or not)...

if your car is a 5-speed non-lsd I would think it would work...-chet

Ahh, well it's a 5 spd LSD S14...AND i just realized that they make a distinction between the driveshafts from enjuku, so I don't think they're a direct swap :(

No, they aren't a direct swap.. one is little shorter, but I don't remember which. Most likely it would be the s13's.

Remember reading that in a tech article somewhere
