Hello all

I recently came into the Rogue family I bought a 2011 Rogue SL Krom ( beautiful). I have noticed that the car seems lower than all others ? How can i raise it as much as possible without costing a arm and a leg. I can't do it my self because, of being disabled.

Thanks

Joe

Here's a few questions for you. Can you clarify "the car seems lower than all others"? Are we talking an inch, or several inches? Since you cannot do the work yourself, have you gone to any shops to get a quote? How much are you prepared to spend?

Seems to be about 4 inches or more. I thought I would check here before I go to a repair location so I will know where I stand

Sounds to me like the previous owner lowered it... Can you post a couple of pics of the car? Could help

You have got to be getting me? You mean this site does not have a way to down load pics? Without going to a third party?

its not the initial cost (drives & programming the site) thats scary, its the maintenance. you can get a 2 terabite drive for ~$100. the cost starts adding up when greg has to add more drives every time 1 fills up = eventually the server needs replacing. people are forgetting the owner of this site runs it out of his home. this site isnt his income nor golden nest egg. he does this because he loves nissans; thats it.

I am in IT so i know maintenance costs are pricy. Just renewed a maintenance contract for our mainframe and the cost was in the millions

our setup is a lot less intricate, so the costs wouldn't be THAT significant up front, but eventually they would lead to Greg having to implement a paid membership on here if one wants any picture-hosting capacity

Hey, I don't know anything about any of this stuff, and I think you all do a great job. But I'm a member on another free forum (volnation.com) that seems very similar to this one (they use vBulletin, I think), and they are able to host picture and video (although they do have a cap on filesize). It's always been my impression that the ad revenue was more than enough to cover the operating costs. Of course, I think they have a lot more members than nicoclub. It might be worth the mods checking it out if you're seriously considering any changes.

totally different format. we are not vbulletin.

anyway guys we are way off topic. nothing is going to change or be implemented any time soon. learn to host images elsewhere as many forums, even those who use vBulletin DO NOT spend the money hosting images.

Wheel space looks fine to me. Not sure why they listed it as a Krom. The Krom models have twin tailpipes in the center of the bumper.
Rogue S Krom Edition
The Nissan Rogue Krom Edition, which was added to the lineup in late 2009, is available in both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations and in just three exterior colors - Pearl White, Super Black and Platinum Graphite.

Built on the solid foundation of the Rogue S, the Krom Edition adds 18-inch brilliant-finish aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/55R18 tires and a unique grille embedded in the aggressive front fascia with integrated fog lights. In the rear, Rogue S Krom Edition includes a boldly styled sport fascia with integrated center-exit exhaust and rear privacy glass.

An integrated body-colored rear spoiler, body-colored power outside mirrors, a Krom emblem and steering wheel-mounted audio controls complete the Krom equipment modifications.

I assume because of the features leather heated seats bluetooth gps moon roof, Xenon headlights.....Wheel space looks fine to me. Not sure why they listed it as a Krom. The Krom models have twin tailpipes in the center of the bumper.

Negative. The Krom didn't have any of that. The Krom was an S (base model) with cute bumpers, dual center exhaust tips and different rims... Sounds like you have an SL...

It is not SL but Krom was not really S either. That is something between. Krom DOES have color-matched mirrors, spoiler and even tinted windows but doesn't have roof rack like SL. It doesn't have BOSE system but it does have 6 speakers vs 4 speakers of S model etc. It is more like S with 360 all around package + some mods.

I wasn't suggesting the Krom was like the SL, I was suggesting that the OP has an SL because he said he has leather and HIDs.
