Thought i'd add, I recently had a chat with a person that performed this swap on a z, noted that the biggest pain in the a** was that the firewalls for the RHD and LHD are different on the sides. He was able to cut and weld the pedal mounting part of the firewall over on the right side, but noted that it didn't look good. This is what I can remember from what he told me, I can look up the messages on FB if this isn't clear enough.

Basically, the firewalls are very different on the sides...so different that it won't just fit into a LHD Z by replacing the firewall with the RHD firewall. it can be done with modification, but he mentioned making it look good is a challenge he wasn't able to overcome. His z is a 'track car' he claims. No pictures were given.

a lot of people just like to repeat the s*** they hear or that they read and repeat it as if its true tested information when they really never researched it or tryed it. I have a jdm rack, i swapped all the harnesses to jdm, only ones i had an issue with was the doors cuz i didnt have jdm harnesses but i figured that out and wired it with the pigtails they gave me for the doors.

DanDarth o see you used a grinder im going to useing a Plasma cutter can post some pics of where you cut. Did you spot weld or add any Reinforcement or did you weld all the way around? That thin sheet metal likes to deform if you put too much heat to it.
