nismo are only stiffer then stock for little bitthen turn into stocks so just get stock mounts if its dailyunless u can deal with the vibration then get kazama

ive used nismo motor and transmission mounts, worked well for me. If you like vibration then go with solid mounts, if not then get the poly's or nismo, avid, peak.something along that line

I have used hockey puck mounts, and IMO there is way too much vibration transmitted for a comfortable daily driver. Can't argue with the price, however.

Make sure you use atleast Grade 8 nuts/ bolts if you go the hockey puck way. If it's metrix Grade 10.9 (10.1?)+.

if the hockey pucks are too stiff and cause too much vibration then i dont know if thats the route i want to go. seems like the nismos are nice and smooth but also not all that stiff. im wanting something in the middle. it seems like the kazama ,cusco, and project silvia mounts are all of the same design. so far im liking the jgs mounts or one of the 3 i just named . i can be persuaded

i have a strut bar and have nismo mounts, but i also modded my mounts.

like i said i filled the holes with urathane, but then i welded a 1 inch stap of metal on the driver's side front. this will not let my motor move while heavy accelerating, but let the motor move when decel or heavy breaking. so it's sort of like a solid/non solid mount.

yes it did raise my motor up a little bit, but it's not like adding gas to my gas tank cant counter the center of gravity. i was still able to fit a strut bar

i have used the nismo transmission mount, and it didn't really give me what i wanted. (but i also like a stiff ride. also this car is not my dd)

for anything above stock power i wouldn't use hockey puck mounts. they can crack easy. especially crack in the winter. ever see hockey pucks shatter when you slap them with a stick?? i have

also i'm not saying get nismo mounts, i'm just saying i use modded ones.

show me a hockey puck shattering from when its hit with hockey stick? lol thats like saying i seen a foot ball explode when kicked lol, the hockey puck is tested for things like that extreme conditions, if it ever gets that cold to where a hockey puck freezes and shatters from being in an engine compartment i think that's the least of your issues with freezing, i also know a couple of guys that make 400+ hp on an rb25 that uses hockey puck motor mounts with no issues what so ever and its bin in his car for 7+ years now.

This is to the op: Me Farting in my seat while driving the car creates more vibration than these motor mounts create, spend the 12-18 bux make the motor mounts and try it for your self seriously, and if you dont like it all you wasted was 18 bux (that's what 2 meals at Mc Donald's?) but if you do like them you saved yourself a s*** load of cash to spend elsewhere.

Multon712: He lives in Colorado they will never freeze, you live in Maine and iam from NY our winters are no different and before i moved here to florida i had no issues with freezing i have also driven this car to NY and back twice with no issues on my motor mounts.

i used urithane to stiffen my stock mounts. i put it in the space of the stock mounts and in the transmission mount and stiffens it up alot for me i think the 15 dollar tube is better then spending money on the nismo motor mounts if your trying to keep cost down.

^^^^ that's the cheapest and easiest to get something a bit stiffer than nismo but still comfy enough. 3M Windo-Weld is your friend. I filled my stockers completely and the motor twists very slightly. In terms of vibration, i'd say it's about 20-30% more than the nismo. I ran hockey pucks for like 3 weeks. Hated it. The whole car shakes and everything vibrates. If you drive your car on the street at all I suggest going with a legit mount.

I know have nismo mounts, they are noticeably stiffer than stock but still great for DD and track use. I suggest them.

+ Nismo

There's nothing cool about a regular car who's steering wheel vibrates in time with the engine at a stop light. Your lady will think your car is about to crap out and she will be looking for a new man with a decent vehicle.

FYI

i have hockey puck motor mounts and they work great. i have a fully built ka24de with header and xcessive intake manifold with a healthy shot of nitrous. trust me, they will hold up. the vibration isnt that bad, but also you have to remember i also have coilovers and sit low so ride comfort isnt a big deal with me in my 240. i daily drive it too. im more bothered by not having ac or carpet

I'm switching to softer mounts due to daily driving.
I have circuit sport solid motor and trans mounts.
Car vibrates extreme when the A/C is blasting. If race car feel is what you want solids will do the trick.
I'm looking at the nismo ones and if I need them stiffer I will fill them with window weld.
I will also add in if you go with solid the hardware bolt and nut will vibrate off. Might as well use skateboard wheels if you want on the cheap.
You will notice a huge difference in vibration once the nut vibrates off and you might say to yourself I guess they just broke in after 4 years of use but nope lol! In this case cross thread is better than lock tight haha!

Looks pretty nice my buddy of mine use Windo-Weld on his 1990 Acura Integra when he were doing a auto to 5-speed conversion.
