I have an idea but look how he used screws to secure it down. Basically, he prevented the fume to smoke the bumper black but shoudl he decide the remove the plate, he'd be left with holes from the screws.

Done it a few times before, but here it is again. Tanabe SMR, 80mm piping, 110mm tip(I believe), and pretty much the straightest exhaust I've seen.

No sound clips yet guys sorry. Sounds killer when I get on it. You can really hear the turbo spool from behind. And my bumper was very very nasty as I run no cat and the CA has VERY rich stock mapping. I also bubbled the paint a bit from heat. It is a aluminum dryer vent that I modified.

MR 3" catback.. sounds okay considering I only have intake.. but I bought it because stock is so restrictive, and i'm going turbo soon.. I think it looks pretty nice and clean, but my car wasn't.

Start Up and Rev it a bit Camera was about 1.5 - 2 feet from the bumper, and you can see the angle.

Off the HS13, Apex'i N1 Duals, which I hate:

And off the RS13, my BRM single, which I love. There is nothing quite like cruising Hockenheimring and Nurburgring on a catback created in your home state.

Looks nice, yea, but between the fact that its extra weight (crap is HEAVY too) and the fact that it rode my diff, made me swap it out. I dont have any pics atm of what it looks like currently, as its sitting at my parents house in northern cali and I'm here in Germany.

Weird, I haven't had any of those problems. Important to note, though, is that it is BARELY heavier than the stock exhaust. If you want an aggressive tone, a great look and a pretty nice little bump in power, and are okay with not shaving any weight off the car, then there's nothing wrong with it. Also, riding the diff? It must've been installed differently on yours, because there's about a foot of clearance between the pumpkin and my innermost canister.

Can't say the same thing about the ground though... not by a long shot. LOL.

Not a thing wrong with it, has only 3k MAX miles on it (I cant remember exactly how much, but no more than 3k). I'd sell it in a heartbeat if I was anywhere near my vehicle, but there is an ocean between us right now =/

I have an SR20 + Nismo motor mounts, my motor is bumped up a bit and it causes all of my exhaust to ride a little high. I have no idea what this exhaust is like on a KA.

Oh, that's just a reflection of the shadow underneath. Lately, though, they've been looking a little bit like that all the time. We had a pretty rainy season and I've been waiting to polish them up.

Here's a pic of my 3" stainless obx exhaust. Wish I had a pic of it before I worked on it. Previous owner had it installed so that it hung approx. 2" off ground. Nearly tore it up driving home. Every bump... Anyway, I dropped out the downpipe and the two middle sections. (Has 4 sections in all, connected w/ flanges.) Used tow straps, a come along, and heat to 'mandrel' bend the downpipe around a telephone pole. Creative huh? That brought the middle section upwards towards the floor pans. Worked well and now it has about 6" clearance (w/ 2" susp. drop) under and is real close to the floor. Can't really recommend if the stock fitment is so low to the ground. But now it fits fairly well. Welds look good. The seperate sections work well for easier one person install. I think it sounds better than my brothers... less raspy/ abrasive/ harsh sound. Does have a little buzz likely due to small leak in resonator from repeated impact. Other wise decent sound. IMO 3" may be excessive. Do we really need that much flow? Hard to route pipe that big cleanly on a car this small and low. Oh, and the tip is 4 or 4.5 and does not stick out...
