Yeah man, that seems like a steal. Hopefully everything is alright with it. I remember you were debating trading your truck for it...I'm glad you kept it and bought this w/o a trade. Now you can actually take the time you need to on stuff rather than getting it done quick cause you need a car haha. Good luck with it.

Could you describe or show a pic of the rod bearing that was knocking? My old KA used to do that and it was scratched but still in shape so I didnt buy new ones, put it back together and still had knock. The knock killed the motor long story short = SR swap.

just wondering what your bearing looked like also.

You've got quite a bit of work to do on the exterior w/ the rice, great start though!

Too bad that nasty body kit is "molded" in. That's going to be a PITA to deal with.

Glad to see it's getting de-riced. Take that Racing Innovations sticker off while you're at it... those guys are a bunch of thieving d!ck that cater to ricers.

well one of the bearings is pretty much gone and the whole thing was loose feeling. we checked out the rod and piston and its fine. so im just gonna be safe a replace all the bearings though... Also on a different note. the original owner called me yesterday and was really cool. Has some extra parts hes gonna give me. Also he said he had just put that t3t4 turbo on and hadnt tuned it yet and told the kid he could not get into the boost or it would be bad news. Well the kid did just the opposite. Just glad its nothing too serious! Im getting an extra posi rear from him. in case anyone is interested
