these are the svn's if anyone is curious, ive seen them in person in the flat black in these sizes and offsets and i am a fan.

and a** for fitment, +20 offset all around sounds like it would fit but i coulf be mistaken
Jesus Christ dude... why didn't you just post that to start off with? Could've saved your self a lot of flaming. Those are good sizes.

But I'm not sure about paying that much for Rota's. Everytime I go to WheelDude's site, it always seems like his stuff is hugely marked up and overpriced...

EDIT: Plus, why stagger when s14's can fit 18x10+20 all around easily? You could run 285/35/18 rubber at all 4 corners if you wanted to...

Another EDIT: Holy shizz! He's got 17x9.5+15 P45R's in 4 lug!

http://www.wheeldude.com/catal...=5846

WheelDude seems to have a lot of stuff that the Rotawheels.com site doesn't even have listed. The price ain't so hot though...

Well, seeing as how Wheeldude is the only place I can find with those sizes available, I guess you're stuck paying that price... Which isn't all that bad for an 18x10 wheel setup, I suppose.

But my grip is more about the 17 inch wheels... $850+ for 17x9.5? I can get the same wheels for less than $750 ordered thru Discount Tire. But WheelDude has some specialized offsets apparently. I guess this is how they justify the price hike...

What I mean is that Rota is in the same quality bracket as XXR, yet their prices for some wheels are noticeably higher. So much so that you may as well save a few hundred dollars more and buy the original wheels that these are knocked off from, in some cases.

When the P45R's first came out, they were selling form over $1g. You could have bought real LMGT4's for like $300 more...

^^^Yep. That sounds about right. But I've seen ppl quoted $710 picked up at the local Discount Tire.

However, I would much rather have a +15 offset than a +12, but I absolutely wouldn't pay almost $150 more for it.

I like Rotas. They look nice and are usually decently light. With the s***ty roads in Detroit i'm happy to roll on cheap wheels that i can easily replace. My friend had one of his Advan wheels f***ed up and it took him a year just to get a replacement. There is nothing like $2500+ wheels that are worthless because you only have 3. As long as you're not a ricer thats going to slap Volk center caps and stickers on them to try to pass them off as the real thing Rotas are okay in my book.

If you want to know exactly what Rotas are available in every style, size, offset and color check here.

Rota > Sportmax any day!

I own 3 cars all on Rota's proudly.

Note: If i owned a $nice$ car as in a newer Z (350 or 370) i'd buy something baller to roll on (Volk, Work, BBS, Advan ect) but since i own a 240, a Civic and a Z24 i'm all about rolling on Rota's.

Does that mean XXR are bad or just cheap? What is wrong with Rota?

What is the problem with knock offs? Do they fall apart? Are they not completely round?

Honestly, you shouldn't have a problem with Sportmaxes, Rotas, etc... unless they're under EXTREME stress or it's just a bad wheel. And if you have enough power to induce that much stress, you should have enough money to get some stronger/better wheels.

Yes dude, they're completely round.

I wanted XXR and thought they were too heavy 16lb but found out that Rota and the S13 1990 stock wheels all weigh about 16 lb. So to save money I'll probably go with XXR.
