How much memory are you running?

More is always better.

If you have 6G of ram, you're doing just fine. More is definitely not needed.

As far as security this is all I can find. Intego's VirusBarrier X5, McAfee's VirusScan for Mac, and Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus 11.

The big 3 Kaspersky, TrendMicro and Webroot, don't seem to have Mac compatibility.

Who is your ISP? If you have Comcast, McAfee comes for free.

If you know anyone in the US Military, have them hook you up with a copy of Symantec. Military gets free downloads of a far superior version of Symantec than we can buy. I just don't know if it will work on a Mac.

MACs have amazing Hardware and great first party support.

Thats about it.

My old iriver HP120 mp3 player is still better at playing music than any ipod.

ITunes blows too.

Also bout the video card thing. I know someone who just built a PC with 3 video cards and runs Crysis at full. Oh wait I am sure Apple still hasn't tried to get into gaming more than BLIZZARD Entertainment.

The one thing I do love about Macs is that you can run Windows and OS X on the same machine

Yeh but why would you need OS X in the first place? WinXP just blows it out of the water in every intuitive way. Macs seemed to be always ***-backwards to me.

Well if you needed to run certain programs that aren't available for Windows such as Final Cut Pro ect... Mac's aren't for everyone. Ive built my own computers for 8 years now. My laptop is a Macbook Pro. Ive never regretted that purchase. I love my Mac.
