I hear ya. It would take twice as long to clean off overspray then to do a good masking job. Glad to hear you're taking your time with it.

Are you painting it yourself?

Can't wait to see pics with fresh paint.

did a little work today
got this hood from frpbodykits, off ebay. welllllll its way lighter then the stock hood, and it looks pretty good, cost wasn't to bad either...only bad part, is i can't get it to latch for the life of me, soooo i got some hood pins today also, need to put those on tomorrow, hence why the hood isn't shut all the way

i get my bride vios III's in 2 days also..so onto the pics

question!...how bad is it to have the engine exposed this much? when it rains, which has a lot recently will that cause damage to anything that far up on the engine? should i worry?

well some update / news

finished priming the whole car, and i got my bride seats it....they came with universal sliders that just arn't going to work, so im fabing the stock sliders to work with the new seats  why can't something just work easily on my car

the trunk stopped closing now also, so im just going to ditch the latch assembly and get lever style latches on the out side

well yahoo's gay and wont let me upload pics like i used to....so no pic updates

but the car is now painted WHITE again haha, but its nicer cause it's all the same color white instead of 3 diff colors, and dirt and grimy looking

couldn't fab up something for the seats, so the stockers are back in for now, picking up a buddy club rail friday, andddd other then that, nothin really new about the car

I'm not sure about the water thing, but i don't think you want to get your dizzy wet. And i hope you didn't want to have a clean engine bay ever...

ehhh the engine bay is actually cleaner since the new hood O.o dunno how,...and water hasn't effected it at all, had it for a few months now too...today tho i started it up right after the storm we had, i usually wait like an hour, and i think not alot of the water had a chance to dry, and i had a few hickups at low rpms...but they went away
sooooooooooooooooooooooo its all good :D
