Gir.....you don't have to give in to drift tax. if i had the money to afford another car and wanted it to be a 240 i'd go look at that and depending on how clean that coupe is, the most i'd offer is 2K. and to get said 2k, it'd have to be in immaculate condition. i really want to punch people who try to use "drift tax" to sell their completely stock cars.

At this point, I'm really not sure. We have a lot going on and I'm not sure when we have time to get away. Dar has something planned for the week of Spring Break so that eliminates that option. It could be as late as next year. :gotme

the main reason i ask... is because you should really plan to come sometime when the road to the top of the peak is fully open... its something you really need to experience but snow f*** with that

The snow is the main reason the kids want to go. Is it bad of me to say that Pikes Peak scares the bejeezus out of me? :ohno:

I was facing the wrong way so I turned my steering wheel, popped the clutch and did half a donut and ended up inside the parking spot.

I would be screwed either way. I would be scared as a passenger because I wouldn't be in control but I would also be scared as a driver because I am pretty sure I am not a good enough driver to manipulate that course.

it's really not hard to drive.... just can't let the corners get 'mixed up' because some of the entries look similar.... gotta drive it by sight not memory

no... gutting the wheels tubs on all corners.... getting rid of sound deadening.... removing front bumper (80 lbs on its own)... replacing all glass with lexan (keeping glass front windshield).... gutting doors... ridding of power windows, guides etc.... removing wiper system...

i made a sort of checklist
