This is entirely untrue. You, sir, are the one who sucks.
NO U
I have now owned 3 XBox 360s. Not one single unit has functioned properly. And in every single case, Micro$oft "customer service" has proven to be a contradiction in terms.
Unit #1 -- Owned for about 6 months. RROD. Sent it in on the "cash for clunkers" recall.
Unit #2 -- Sent as replacement for defective Unit #1. Upon arrival, optical drive was inoperable. Micro$oft's response when I alerted them of the issue? We're sorry, but the optical drive is not covered under our special recall. As your original warranty has been exceeded, you should send your unit to us at your expense. We will diagnose the problem and provide you with a repair estimate. If you choose to repair the unit, we will be happy to do so in timely manner once you have provided us with payment for the repair, parts, and return shipping.
Unit #3 -- Madden '09 came out. Was sick at home & bored, needed something to do. Went out and bought a new 360 arcade model, swapped in my old HD. Unit freezes playing Madden. Mass Effect 2 is good unless too much is happening on the screen at once, then it freezes or frame rate drops to like .5 - 1 FPS. Target wouldn't take it back, even for an exchange because they had a technical bulletin from MicroSoft about a video issue with the 360 Arcade model. Again, alerted MicroSoft to the problem. Their solution: Send it in to us (your expense) and we'll blah blah blah.
Once I finished ME2, I haven't turned it on once. I'll be getting ME3 on PC.
I love the 360's game library -- just hate hate hate the console.
