Im in Chicago a lot anyways. Im bringing the Gloria to the StanceNation meet on the third of Oct. I could assist you after that if youd like. Get the parts. Complete rebuild kits for all four carbs. Go ahead and order them. Its not hard rebuilding them, just getting them to sync is the b**** of it all. just get a shop to sync them, you do the rebuild.

let me know

get on partshark.com and see if you can get them online. My store price is a little higher price. Compare partshark.com to ebay, order which ever is cheaper. But make sure you get Suzuki parts,no Chinese s***

Not to change the subject, but do any of you dudes know if there's an FM transmitter add-on that's compatible with the Moto Droid? My search is coming up with bupkus. Plenty of them for the iPhone/iPod (iTrip and aftermarket), but so far nada for anything else.

The stock stereo in my Xterra does not have an aux input port, so this is my only option unless I wanna put in an aftermarket head unit (which I don't).

Just buy a generic one that goes into the headphone jack.

Yes, there are options Chad. Your best bet would be a wired in-line modulator.

Lou, thanks! I dunno why that didn't turn up when I searched Amazon for "mp3 player FM transmitter" but hey, whatever.

Adam, huh?

Chad, a wired transmitter runs in-line with the stock antenna. The install is a touch more complicated, but will result in much better audio quality with less interference. I would grab something like this:

Also a good choice, if you are looking to hardwire something in - they aren't that difficult to do - I've wired 3 cars with cd changers back in the day, all running on FM modulation. Otherwise, the transmitter is the other solution.

Bah, I keep mistyping s***. Shouldn't say a wired transmitter. While they may occasionally be called that, it doesn't really make sense.

And when I said more complicated, that was relative to an FM transmitter which is probably the easiest thing ever. The wired unit would require hiding somewhere behind the radio (and therefore removal of the radio) and connection of a power and ground it looks like. Then you have to run the wires somewhere convenient for your phone. Still pretty easy, but relatively speaking more complicated.

Lou, at what point will we scare G away? I can't stop laughing at that thread. And I loved your cali/nj analogy.
