You have only seen ones that were beat on heavily. The mechanical value of these things holds for a while.
fact.

the interior will start rattling and have s*** fall off, but the chassis and drivetrain will remain solid.

Lol, which car are you talking about, the mustang or the 240? Both can apply.

Either car nowadays is just getting bought up left and right to get trashed as a project/first car. They're decent to start off with, but worthless after being torn into and beat up.

That's why I like Mustangs. I mean they may rarely break 200k without major problems, but they are still seriously solid cars, and quick nonetheless. 240s down here in Florida are just too expensive. Shoot, they're too expensive EVERYWHERE. Drift tax y0.

Midget, a 240 is kind of reliable, but I see far more of those Fords out on the road in better condition.

No s*** you do. I wonder why?

Think about the ratio of 240:Mustangs that were produced.

And why do people buy 240s nowadays? They are an overpriced econobox that doesn't even get good gas mileage. The only people that do buy them are ones that to modify them in some sort of way.

Thus I buy Mustang.

I want a GT, but would it make more sense to just buy the 3.8L non-GT just because it has lower miles?

:wtf2:

Both you and Dave are making ZERO sense.

Brandon, the 3.6 is a pig. And it gets something like only 1 or 2 mpg difference. It SUCKED. Don't blow your money on a car you'll regret.

So what about the number difference? Even though there were more of them, that does not excuse the difference in condition.

I'm sorry, but you just aren't aware of what's up.

3.8*

That's why I was looking at the 4.6. It's quicker and it's a damn solid motor.

I'm sorry, but your statement makes you seem like a retard.

Think about the ratio of mustang owners that buy their car solely for general transportation, as opposed for some type of motorsports like drag racing or whatever.

Now take a 240 and do the same thing. See a difference?

Come on Dave, really? I'm done discussing this btw, not worth the effort. You guys can drive all the s*** cars you want.

No, I don't. There are less 240s available, so you just fu*ked up your own meaning since all the parts on your 240 are getting changed out.

So my car is still broken. Battery is good. Alternator is good. Alarm has been ripped out so I have now permanently bypassed the ignition lock problem I was having. But now my car doesn't like to stay running. It starts right up when someone jumps me, but once I hit the brakes and it sends power to the brake lights, or turn on the a/c, it dies unless I'm revving the motor.

So I had to left foot brake all the way to the academy and back today, to make sure it didn't die. That's weird as hell man.

I'm not doing anything with it for right now.

Why? Because Audio Express messed it up. I took it to them to completely take out the alarm, and now the lights on the dash don't work. At all. They've never not worked. I'll be taking it back in on monday.

Well, it is. Nobody has heard of Nissan's most unheard-of 105hp 8 spark plug wonder turd.

It's all good. Even the more common engines would probably lead to talks too technical for me. I may be on a car forum, but I wouldn't consider myself a gear-head. And, imagine that, I drive an Altima Coupe...
