They don't last very long if you get the cheap ones tho.

I did it in my 240, and it lasted about 2 days...

KV, do you have any other games for sale?
No, unfortunately I don't. I was thinking of selling RE5 with it, but I have a collection with RE. I have 1-4 already.

I'm not sure that one LED is gonna be right to work with the light characteristics of that tiny bulb...

I haz PS3 slim!

Ring looks good Shazzy!
I thought about making my wiring all complex so the light turns on when the door is opened and turns off after about 5 seconds, like our '05 Pathfinder.
But I think it looks cool staying on all the time so I might do it that way. :D

i want a ps3 and/or a 360. im so left behind on gaming.
mine stays on when ever the key is in the ignition. i read that you can wire in a capacitor, so it stays on and then fades out when you turn it off.

That's kind of pointless, if you really really care that much about the functionality...

Razi's door thing sounds like the best idea, coupled with your capacitor idea. Just have a dual source of power with diodes inline before the capacitor, one from the door, one from the key ignition.

its very pointless haha. when i was doing it, i thought it was going to stay on all the time. so i didnt really know what to expect. i like it how it is for now, but ill end up doing it right later on when i do my build.

I wanna do it but I'm an electricity noob.
Edumacate me.

I thought I'd I get the power from the door switch wire.
Then I put a capacitor on that wire, then the light turns on as the door opens, then fades away after I close the door...

Why do I need a 2nd source from the ignition?
Also, what kinda capacitor? :gapteeth:
