It even had one of my pairs of GASCAN sunglasses in it! A partial get-back from that theft is nice, I suppose...

It's a good thing some people are kind enough to read names and phone numbers in backpacks.
Damn, hella weeks after it was stolen. At least you have an idea where the a**hole went or probably lives near. Hope the thief rips a testicle.

Yeah, I'm just happy that I have the GPS now, the jobs I tend to be employed with require that piece of equipment more than the tools I lost...
And the sunglasses are king. I have been blinded by the sun this month for the last time!!! Fu*k you, sun!!!

Oh and another update: I'm going to hopefully pick this up tomorrow, pending on a deposit... (no title till payed off, of course)

HAHA The owner is a mechanic at the same dealer that Patrick works/worked at (you guys remember him??? I dunno if he still works there...) and he said it was supposed to be a drift-only car. It has a welded diff (which I have to change, yay) and the CA20 turd in it. It also needs a piece of exhaust b/c he cut it off to "get more power" or something...

I wonder exactly what type of mechanic he is...

Edit: Also, it's an 88, so Ihope it has an r200 on it at least. The 180 is weak as fizzuck and I hate swapping to r200 from those. Custom bracket mounts are a pain in the as$ when you don't have a welder.

probably a retarded one...

I can't remember, but I assume that had the uh...what the f*** was it...H190 rear end in it?

the live axle.

I like the coupe...but it doesn't look as 80's-rific as the hatch did. Beat the CA and then swap a real CA in it.

She gave me a B on a paper instead of an A because I didn't cite any references. I didn't use any. It was a paper based on the information we learned from a chapter we read in our textbook. All of the information was based on discussion stemming from the material, nothing was plagiarized. UGH.

Nah, the '86 and up had IRS, and the CA20 (XE model) had a R180 in it, AFAIK...

I think if anything, it looks more 80's-riffic. It has that popular sedan look to it, kinda like a K-car or something.

And besides, the CA18DET swap will be better in this model than the hatch, because the coupe weighs only 2500 pounds. The chassis is supposedly stiffer, too.
I can also use the stock trans with the motor, since it's a kouki. No cutting-up-the-shifter-hole for me, thanks.

I found that to be true with all my psych teachers/professors. She probably sees something she likes in you, so you get extra attention like that. Try to eff with her back and see what happens! Image

It's just a 101 class, so I'm not gonna sweat it too bad, it just pisses me off. If she pulls some more BS though on the second paper, I may have to go over her head. 101 class or not, I can't let her f*** with my GPA.

I would have if I had used specific wording from the book but I didn't. When you cite, you have to be exact. I didn't use exact wording or anywhere close to it.

She knows. Even though it wasn't specific, she said I never would have had that knowledge without reading the book so I have to site it, regardless if it is verbatim or not. I guess for my next paper I should put the entire thing in quotation marks.

Oh well, I have to go study for a while. I'll probably jump back on to say good night before I turn in. :wavey:

This happened to me once. Gave me a C+ (I think) because I forgot to include a title page (whoops) and I had "incomplete citing" or something. It was easily an A paper.

I tried to explain to her that I can't cite things that I learned over the years through life. She didn't agree. She also said that there was too much information for the number of sources I listed, which doesn't make any sense because I never used exact words from whatever article I was using.

I guess people can't be original anymore, you have to site life now.

You should put acid in her morning coffee and bring a cap gun to class.
