Does it have remote engine start? It says remote windows? Is that right? What is that exactly? What type of iPod connector does it have? Will it work with a nano, or only full ipod? How well does the compact flash card work? What are the aux audio-video jacks for?Has anyone gotten one with chrome wheels from the factory? The guy eluded to the fact that is was possible to get one, but not likely. How well does the bluetooth work? I saw youtube video that indicated some sort of bluetooth ipod connection.
Any other comments or things I might want to consider would be appreciated.
1. The Murano does NOT have remote start.
2. The remote window is a pretty cool feature. You hold down the unlock button on your key fob, and it brings the windows down. You hold the lock button, and it brings the windows up.
3. Good question, I am not sure if the Nano works or not. I know it (LE ONLY) has the full Ipod Interface that will not only play music through the Murano stereo, but also display track and artist information as well.
4. The compact flash card slot is AWESOME! I have that sweet feature on my '08 Armada. You can whip through the songs so quickly by spinning the little while on your dash. It shows all the artist and track info on your screen. It is another sweet feature. Make sure you don't get a card larger than 2GB. I understand that if you get a card larger than that, songs will get "lost" on the card, and the stereo can't find them. I bought my card on ebay for $29.95 with shipping.
5. Again, you can hook up an MP3 player, Ipod, a portable DVD player, a PS2 or PS3 or any gaming system for that matter. Keep in mind that you can only view video on the Nav screen if the vehicle is parked with the E-brake on.
6. I believe you can get chrome versions of the 20" rims, I think you need to special order them at this point, or have someone chrome them out for you aftermarket.
7. The bluetooth works awesome! You actually set up the voice activation using your own voice. So it really never screws up. It is amazing how flawlessly works. Your cell phone will be nicely paired with the screen on the Murano. You can beam all of your contacts to the Murano using the bluetooth.
Last but not least, welcome to NICOclub!!!! I am the moderator for this forum and the Armada/QX56 forum. I would love to help you out in any way I can. I will be ordering an '09 Murano in a few weeks for August delivery. I am also getting an LE with all the goodies. If you do get it, please let us know and post some pictures it in the photo thread I started. Here is a link to a mini comparison I did with the '09 Murano and the Acura MDX.
