LBC's Day in the shop... eibach, xentec, eyelids, corners, fujita

I hope i posted this in the right place!

Ok... So if you live in the NY area you know that yesterday was an awesome day outside... Where i live in long beach when i woke up i saw people walking on the boardwalk for the first time of the season... Anyways my nissan tech called me on friday and said hed have time on sat for me... I brought over my chrome white corner lights, the 2 xentec 6000k kits, fujita intake, and the eibach pro-kit... I also had him disconnect the amber running light, so when the fiberglass overlays are painted i wont need to go under the car to disconnect them later. There were no issues whatsoever with any of the installs at all, i had given him the DIY printouts just in case he had any questions (although he said he didnt look at them and laughed when i took them out.. )

ALSO this is a big plus for all 2.5ers... 20x8.5 245/35/20 with 38+ offset... NO RUBBING!!! I hit some pretty decent potholes on the way home testing it out and we are good to go... I am considering getting the fenders rolled anyways just in case, thru the NYG35 forums theres a trusted guy in Brooklyn that will roll all 4 for $175...

The ride feels very simmilar to some extent (i havent really gassed it around a corner hard yet)... I do realize that the car is sitting significantly lower just by my view on the road... at a light i feel lower when im looking at the guy next to me... I will let the look of the setup speak on its own behalf. Note the before and after pictures... I have also laid the overlay ontop of the headlght so you can see what it will look like when it is painted.. obviously the color doesnt match. Also, it appears that the light is coming thru on the inside of the eyelid, but its not adhered to the light, once it is that wont be visible. As for me.. well im and waiting for the first day its warm out to pimp my ride by the local ice-cream shop!

MC i was hoping you would be on now! Looking at and sticking your fingers in the back (of the rear tires! dirty mind lol)... It feels really close... But i didnt feel anything... Monday ill be going to work and hitting a series of speed bumps... ill post results then, but it looks sweet... What i am wondering is if i should get them rolled before there an issue, or wait and see if something happens then roll them....

No problem.. it wont look accurate until its painted and adhered to the car though... i can hold it down and see its going to be a perfect fit after i put it on though... im going to try and get it painted this week...

Hey LongBeachCoupe,noticed that you even installed your fujita, was it hard to install and is there anything that i should be aware on the installation with the fujita? how was the sound in the cabin? was it loud? BTW big improvement on your ride, very nice...

i didnt do the install but it was a simple install with no issues whatsoever... says my nissan tech... i never had an intake before... and under 3k, its almost silent... above... wuahhhhhhhh.... its sweet... on youtube you can find many clips of the sound... Fujuta all the way though.. injen apparently changed the piping on theirs after they realized they made a mistake? get real... fujuta was 150 delivered with a hat duffel bag decals and drink..

well its nice to hear another brother happy with his new toy, i myself will be on the same boat like you. I'm just waiting for my stillen exhaust to come in and then i'll post some pics of my whip, but as for right now i'm just putting her together which is the fun part cause if your limited with funds you can only order one thing at a time which makes it more fun...

Awesome job LBC.. Black 2.5s' all the way man! I really wish I could be as optimistic about a no-rub drop with 18x9.5", 245/40/18's and a +24 offset :/. I really like the HID headlight/fog light combo with the black contrast by the way. Definitely considering that one.

hey man.. you wont rub... maybe you will need spacers to bring it farther from the hub.. but you should be good to go!

I also just dropped off the eyelids to get painted... should have em by the end of the week.

d-roll... in your sig you have a clear shot of your headlight... inside there theres 4 bulbs... lo and hibeam... and a turning signal (the outside bulb) and the amber running light... its got an amber bezel infront of it... you see? well i disconnected that light so now my headlights are all white light... and the eyelid will cover that amber strip like it wasnt even there! Look at the OP pic of my headlight and you will see theres no amber!

idk if they are illegal or not but i dont see any cops pulling people over for it ever... people roll with pink headlights and dont get hassled... anyways i got them on ebay for 11 delivered... They arent as bright as i would like them to be, but i had been trying to find out the type of relay i would need for a white LED corner, but i couldnt find out for sure and i dont like to futz around so i decided against it... if you can find reliable info, that would be best, but heres the auctionhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...13412arrived 4 days after i paid him.

not to go off topic, but are there more then one fujita intake for the 2.5? I see that yours has a large orange fujita logo on it, yet the one i received has a small square silver one that says F5 with fujita under it
