LBC's Day in the shop... eibach, xentec, eyelids, corners, fujita

i dont think they make more than 1... injen changed its design after i had theirs so i sold it... the fujita is awesome... i see on all their intakes they use either of those labels... its the same to my knowledge, but the coupe ones ive seen pics of all had my decal.. i have seen others with just the square f5 though

it is a surfers name but i am definitely not related to him. i have to step my game up on my coupe. Luckily its tax season and I do accounting lol. i dont want to be stuck driving next to Knightrider over here looking all blacked out

is the auto show at the javits center? and i want to bring my car but it has this DENT on the passenger side that is really noticable..and i dont want all the fellow members to see but itll be cool to see evryones car...oh well...im still contemplating..

i was thinking about -pro-kit springs myself-hid fogs-short ram intake

My birthday is tomorrow. Lids and intake will be purchased. Cant have black primed lids on an Azure blue coupe lol. If you can get some prices that would be cool.

so LBC i take it that your partial to the Fujita as opposed to the injen?

any CEL's since you've had it installed?

im not sure what a CEL is... but ive gassed it in every situation and havent had an issue with it except it makes a sweet sound. I dig your sig pic.

I am partial to fujita because initially injen had issues... they put out an intake that caused hood rubs in the 2.5 and i emailed them multiple times about it. i received no response. But i DID get a response from the sales manager of stillen... informing me that they stand behind the products they sell, and that he would gladly exchange it. I had already sold it, (it was actually supposed to be delivered today to the buyer but i think he is sending it back to me so idk now...) although injen fixed the piping now for wai's going fwd... i dont think its right they made themselves "first to market" with something they obviously didnt put thru good R&D.

oh and i forgot to ask.. since you installed the springs... did u also change the shocks/struts? is it even necessary to do that which such a small drop?

i was thinking pro kit just because everyone says that they produced those springs to work with the oem suspension system..

shocks and struts are factory... and they dont need to be changed in a progressive rate kit. There is a slight camber adjustment (you dont need a kit) tilting the top of the wheel slightly inward... allowing my wheels to clear...

LBC,for LED turn signals...all you need to do is put a 8ohm resistor between the negative and positive leads. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that was all that needed to be done?

Are you speaking from experience? I didnt really feel like buying the bulbs and/or wasting money on resistors trying to figure it out... Ill post a nice pic of the eyelids today

by the way,with the white turn signals...how easy is it to see in the day time? I'm trying to imagine seeing a white light blink in the day time and not getting a good image.

yo LBC, I installed my LED turn signals for the front. It was blinking pretty fast without the resistors. After I placed the resistors in there, it was blinking at the normal speed. I mounted the resistor on the same metal bracket as where I mounted the HID ballasts. Just thought I'd let you know...that it does work.

It's VERY bright when looking at it from the front, but viewing from the side, it's hard to tell they're on. I got a 31 LED turn signal. I would suggest getting a 39 LED one, or even a 50ish LED one. The longer it sticks out, the better chance you have of seeing it from the side.
