I'm not driving to Ashburn, Dulles or Frederick just to go to a "hip" store. And like someone else said, I only hear chicks talking about that place...

Good, durable clothes. And, people tend to leave you alone. That may, or may not be a good thing for you.

For some reason, I always thought Plato's Closet sold childrens' clothes only. Probably because a friend of mine talks about buying her daughter's clothes there from time to time.

They sell clothing for all ages at the one near me. They're pretty picky about buying clothes from you, though.

That's okay. As with cars, I don't buy clothes with the intention of reselling. If I don't wear them 'till they're unwearable, I'll use them for rags or crawlin' under cars.

Department stores:

Levi's 501 or 539
Ralph Lauren Polo Regent shirts (really the only type of shirt I like - no pocket, spread collar, longer in the sleeve at the cuffs)
Dockers/Hagar/whatever flat front pants

Hobby Lobby:

plain colored t-shirts (go on their sale days. these fit way better than hanes or whatever you buy off the racks)

Thrift store:

pearl snaps and other assorted s***.

My attire is carefully selected to appeal to the younger girls. It has worked out so far ;)

I normally wear Levis or Nautica jeans/shorts, Polo, Nautica or Hilfiger shirts if I'm taking the wife out, so Macy's works for me. If I'm chillen out or just hanging around the house some Old Navy jeans/shorts with some kind of car or dirty slogan shirt, Then Old Navy & the internet are used.

I get nice shirts and slacks (Mens clothing) at TJ Max, Burlington coat factory, J.C. Penny's, and sometimes even Sam's Club. It's a hit n' miss for all 4 places though.

used to go to Express for slacks, but i don't know of one around here.
