I bought a $900 suit there for $32, and Ive bought several pair of Rockports there for $10-$15.
I've never found anything there. Everytime I went with my mom (she's a manager at nordstrom) she would always find something for herself. But I always found the men's section REALLY picked over, even on the days they got fresh inventory. Plus, that place is a crazy mess! Everyone is hell bent on finding "that deal."

But it sounds like you got good deals there. Rockports for $15?!?! Jeez! :bigthumb:

I'm not sure where you're from OP, but in SoCal, a lot of the more fashionable people wear stuff like Crooks and Castles, The Hundreds, Stussy, and stuff like that. I've seen people rock that stuff until their early to mid Thirties. If you're even in the SoCal area, check out Proper in Long Beach, Attic in Buena Park, BOWLS in LA, the BAPE store in Hollywood, or pretty much any of the stores on Melrose in Hollywood. It can get a little expensive, but they do have clearance racks (all of them except the BAPE store) and you can walk out the store with a few T-shirts for about 30 bucks. Hope this helps you out man.

Ppl should really update their profiles to display their location. Seems like only 5% of NICO has done this since the server switch over. It's really annoying when ppl talk about stuff in their area and you have no idea where the f*** they are...

Odds are, someone on an international forum is asking about chain stores.

Yeah, that was kind of a general comment sparked by the guy talking about his socal only stores... But stuff like that is going on all over NICO.

lol i don't like being overly dress, it makes me uncomfortable. this is not to say i don't give a chit about how i look. people tend to overly dressed all the time, and they become "dysfunctional" once they're not dressed well. image could be deceiving at times.

Target - hands down i can put together full outfits for less than $30 which is a win win for me considering I'm poor.

Pacific Sunwear, Hot Topic, and Sears are where I send the family when when it comes around to Christmas time, but then I absolutely despise the whole dress shirt and khaki/dockers look. I'm not going to go party at the yacht club or spending my days playing golf, I like the whole working class carpenter jeans and logo t-shirts look with my skater shoes or work boots look and I'm 33 so I dress for practicality and to be comfortable, not to look like a pretentious snob or be a trendy ed hardy wearing d-bag.

I've been shopping at Home Depot for clothing lately. Nomex shirts rock for hot days if you wear them inside out.

I buy work stuff from Jos. A Bank, Brooks Brothers, Johnston & Murphy, and Thomas Pink.

Casual stuff comes from Karmaloop, TH, Supreme, Palace5ive, Major, 10 Deep, Stussy, Cmonwealth, etc.

Does anyone else have a "Huberts" near them? I wait for their tent sales in the summer. They will mark down a lot of North Face, Columbia, and other rugged brands to $10-$15 for items that normally cost $25-$60.

when i gota get trendy and go into the city/club scene, i wear express men.

95% of the time i'm not in the above situation, and i wear polos from old navy (SO cheap), jeans/shorts from costco... costco has surprising selection of clothes, some nice brands everyonce and a while, wicked cheap.

found some ralph lauren jeans for like $30, they are def my most comfy pair =P

kmart, walmart, target, occasionally macy's/jc penny/sears. those last three are rare since they're all attached to the mall, and i detest the mall.

Don't worry, in a couple years you'll have to go up a few pant sizes to fit your Depends.

Never said it was, I just really like Domo. I don't own a single article of clothing that can be considered "trendy", it's about comfort for me, not "let me look like all the rest of the lemmings walking the earth". I go to work it's carpenter jeans/cargo shorts beat up old t-shirts and sneakers/work boots, I go to the store, car events, out to dinner, to the bar its the same jeans/cargo shorts and shoes that I work in but the t-shirts are newer and not beat up.

I love Brooks Brothers. If I could I'd probably buy everything they sold...
