very nice!

for the s14 frontend conversion, did u just straight up use the s14 fenders? I heard you had to bend the rear of the fender near the door in since it sticks out too much, but other than that, it's bolt-on?

brokeAs240sx: The S14 conversion was not a simple task. The fenders are actually a pair I scored from a friend of mine in Japan. They are 20mm over one piece steel stamped fenders with S13 rear half and S14 front half. No welding on them what so ever. I couldn't find a brand name on them either. They are soooooo nice! Bolted right on. The hood is definetly not bolt on.....had to use S14 hood hinges and make new mounting points where it bolts to the car. The front end behind the bumper was also interesting. Since I retained the S13 core support I basically cut off everthing in front of it and reconstructed everything out of tubular steel and made custom mounts for everything. It took roughly 14 hrs. to complete.

The paint and body was done at M1 Autobody in El Monte, Ca. I highly recommend you letting them quote your job. Young guys, highly motivated, and well versed on the automotive aftermarket= A+ work at a very fair price. I can't say enough about there professionalism. Check'm out!

Nice, I'll definately check them out once I finish some prep work on the vert.

All that hard work you did pay off. Thanks for the heads up on the kouki conversion... not something I'll be trying any time soon now .

Sorry to discourage you on the S14 Kouki face. Just wanted to give you a heads up. If you ever do it let me know as I would be more than happy to give you more insight.

Thanks for your feedback.......anyone else?

Looks so nice!

I always thought those diamond-cut clear/red taillights looked cheap on Ebay, but on your car they look awesome!

Great job on the kouki front.

Fantastic!

ca18datsun510: I have custom wheels on order....had to wait until the car was out of the shop to figure out the proper offset.

The Enkeis will be used as drift and track day wheels.

KA-Te: Thank you! I will post more pictures once I make some more progress on the engine and wheel situation.

Thanks again for all of the positive feedback. When I decided to do this conversion I knew it had to be done properly to earn any respect as I know how critical people are these days.....especially when defacing (no pun intended) a limited edition car.

Well anyhow, I am going to try my best to keep it clean and tasteful.......Ill keep you all posted as the car progresses before its debut on the SEMA show floor in November.

Just an update guys. I have attached a photo from a couple of weeks ago when I was invited to bring the car out to LA for the Black Eyed Peas video shoot for there new single "Bebot". I brought the vert out but it was over shadowed by some of So. Cals. hottest cars Including a beutiful Black Infinity Q45 all VIP'd out. I'm so jealous!

The car is now sitting at the Fab shop where today the ole worn out KA will find it's way to the shop floor and a new improved Nissan power plant is being installed. I will post updates over the next few weeks while the install is being done.

That's one gorgeous vert. I'm really digging the rims. I have same tail lights BTW. Makes the car look little newer I guess.

Yea...I used the tails because I wanted to freshen the car up a little and they offer a nice clean new car look for a good price. I got them from ORIGIN ......good people over there!

I bought it about 9 months ago in stock trim. Since I have started modding it and know it's officially gotten out of control. I am excited to say that it will be finished by November 1st. I can't wait to start putting up the updates as you are all going to enjoy the engine mods.....I promise.

Stay Tuned.

madcowvert: The front brakes are Rotora 6 pistons and the rears are S14 w/ Project Mu pads.

Are those aftermarket FRP S14 fenders and wide rear fenders? How did the paint job and fitment come out? I've seen some FRP stuff in person, but body work and paint job didn't look good at all. All of them were awful and I wouldn't do that to my car if you know what I mean. Yours look pretty sleek, sharp and clean though.

Yes, The fronts are +20mm metal once piece bolt on units I sourced from a friend in Japan. The rears are +50mm Origin parts. The fitment was beutiful and M1 autobody put in a lot of hours "blocking" the whole aero package to ensure that it came out pretty straight.

I am very picky about fit and finish so I am excited to finally see the paint after it is finally color sanded. It should look like glass?!
