laggy forum

I would like to start by saying that I'm not complaining and I know its a lot of work and I appreciate all the moderators do. that being said, the forums have been crazy slow the past couple days! I thought it was my computer but every other site runs normal. so when do you think the forum will be back to normal speed? not complaining, just asking when it'll be back to normal. I didnt PM a mod because I felt that this is something I'm sure many members would like to know about.

I was experiancing the same right before the forum got it's new look. Since then I haven't noticed it slow at all.

I think it's more of cookies getting flooded from all the content on NICO. Try clearing your cookies..

Did you try clearing your cookies like I mentioned before?

I just had a problem loading NICO inside a virtual box. It seems the google ads were destroying everything (though I'm not sure why). I finally got around to using adblock to disable them and have had no problems since. Just a thought. If the site is hanging on load, can you tell where the hold-up is?

no I didnt read your post till I logged on at my friend's house and it worked perfect so there was no need to. I'm at my fiances house right now and its running good too. I think its running good now. but the before last night it was running super slow for me. I'd click on something and it would take literally 1-2 min to load.

lol it happens. at work, people would call me up because of a computer error they were getting or some technical issue, then when i show up there and magically it's working perfectly fine!

i wasnt gonna say anything cuz i thought it was just my phone but im using opera mini too & im having the same problem! nothing wrong with any other pages like you said, super fast... just nico's is lagging...

i just hope the issue with nico gets resolved
but its so fast i give my gf a hard time about her internet being slow & shes got the iphone 3g & im using an old t-mobile dash with edge & my internet $hits on hers!! lol
