There's a huge problem with it? WTF are you talking about? There's NOTHING wrong with it. I understand if it's not your preference, but there's nothing WRONG with it.PoorManQ45 wrote:Excellent fix sir!
I still do not understand the point of the resize script. We all know that there is a huge problem with it, so why not remove/disable it completely?
i happen to like that feature... keeps pics you don't wanna see from getting too annoying... and for the ones you WANT to se... click it and BAM! full size!mcheddadi wrote: You need to make a custom filter to remove that annoying new resizer that shrinks the signatures and the images on every thread.
i believe he's talking about the fact that the old pics (pre switchover) are all messed up looking.... the new feature works fine dammit! its just the old pics!MinisterofDOOM wrote:There's a huge problem with it? Ahh, yeah, just to clarify, if that's the issue Brien's referring to, it's NOT the fault of the resizer. It's a side effect of the forum formatting combined with pics from ZF-era posts (which don't get resized). The fact that the forum scales to monitor size is AWESOME, especially when viewing on non-standard size screens.PEZi720 wrote:i believe he's talking about the fact that the old pics (pre switchover) are all messed up looking.... the new feature works fine dammit! its just the old pics!
Well with my script it scales even more.MinisterofDOOM wrote: [...] The fact that the forum scales to monitor size is AWESOME, especially when viewing on non-standard size screens.
Go to the test page that he linked to to test what he did.MinisterofDOOM wrote:There's a huge problem with it? WTF are you talking about? There's NOTHING wrong with it. I understand if it's not your preference, but there's nothing WRONG with it.PoorManQ45 wrote:Excellent fix sir!

Like I said, that's not the image resizer. That's a result of old (pre-resizer, pre phpbb-switch) posts NOT being resized. Any thread with the resizer actually operating won't do that.PoorManQ45 wrote: Go to the test page that he linked to to test what he did.
Every single picture is cut off on the right side for me. I'm running at 1920x1200.
It only works if you are not zoomed in at all.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Like I said, that's not the image resizer. That's a result of old (pre-resizer, pre phpbb-switch) posts NOT being resized. It happens in all browsers though. That would imply that it's not a browser specific problem.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Dude, that's not a forum problem, that's a browser problem.
I'd rather remove/disable you completely.PoorManQ45 wrote:Excellent fix sir!

Sounds more like a youneedtogetafrigginbiggermonitor problem to me.PoorManQ45 wrote:I know it's a one-off problem, but I've got a 17" screen running at 1920x1200. I can't read anything without zooming in! LOL
