just curious, but has anyone ever thought of a meet for our cars? i know most of our cars will be stock since our cars are new and there arent that many aftermarket parts yet, but a meet sounded cool to me today at work when it just popped up in my head lol.

Good thinking. I used to go to the car meets down in Crystal Cove (Newport Beach). It's a bit far but a great drive down the freeway and then PCH. I just love cruising at those parts of the state. Another good place would be malibu...photoshoot and all that good stuff.

yea, the beach is kinda far, wouldnt mind the drive, but kinda far lol. glendale galleria and the grove is coo, or anywhere else if anymore ideas, and more people are up for the meet!

i actually lived in glendale for 14 years, but now i'm not in LA anymore.. i'm in fontana, by rancho cucamonga, by upland, by claremont, by ontario.. lol...

sorry but the reason why i say "by etc. etc." is because no one knows where fontana is lol..

i'm thinking about tinting maybe 35% for the passenger windows and 20% back leaving the fronts untinted, wonder if that might look too weird cuz i rather not get pulled over and waste the $ tinted and pay the fine. There's a CHP station near my work place and I drive by it almost everyday

I live over in the Rancho Cucamonga/Ontario/Upland area too and work in Brea. So anything out in the IE or in the OC would be cool. Maybe a meet at Victoria Gardens or Brea Mall. Brea may be ideal cuz it is on the border of LA, OC, and SB counties and has access to the 57 which hits the 60, 10, 210, 91, 5, and 22. Just thinking of convience for the drive. However, I'll still do a meet in LA if that is decided.

when i ment a "LA" meet, i meant members around LA COUNTY, including the OC, LA, IE (inland empire), etc... the meeting itself doesnt have to be held in actual Los Angeles, sorry if that confused anyone.

but as of the meeting, anywhere in the OC sounds good to me, it seems the most convenient for everyone, and Leif927's reasoning sounds reasonable and practical. but before we set a location, how bout we try to get a list of people that will come first, with a set date. then further location and details can be made out? THIS MEET SOUNDS AWESOME

Juct curoius, didn't you buy your car to drive? PCH if you are in so cal beats the hell out of drives in the concrete and car jungle of the Valley or LA.....IMO

Firestorms galore and winds over 59mph (near hurricane strength) where I live. All we need is a major earthquake and plague and we can call the LA area a biblical mess.

Yeah, I saw all that on the news. I still miss LA though, firestorms or not. I don't know if you remember last year when we had torrential rainstorms for 40+ days straight. And I mean rainstorms as in flooding everywhere. It was of biblical proportions and boy, was that NOT fun! So I feel ya!
