That meet was in San Francisco. That hill/street is a famous part of town. It's featured in many movies and commercials. Not near us unless we drive about 8 hours north...

If they're talking about THE GROVE... I'm all for it. The parking structure is weird but I think there are usually lots of empty spaces at the very top on weekdays.

If anyone has heard of Whittier Narrows, that would work too. The parking is usually empty and we could line up all cars side by side for a group pic.

The place is called CRYSTAL COVE, not crystal grove. It is a part right next to the shore in Newport Beach. Great place, great views, great drive along PCH. I've been there a couple times and really liked the area. They also have car shows/meets every saturday in a large mall parking lot where enthusiasts gather and show off their cars. Some really nice autos/groups.

It's a bit of a drive (about 1 hour) for people from the inland LA area, so it should be done a weekend. The grove is pretty chill (and close) but there's not much to do.

LA is perfectly fine...would be closer for me also. I was just thinking of a nice place and drive. I do know of some good places in the san fernando valley such as the Topanga mountains

If the fires die down, we can take a drive on Mulholland and then Kanan Road through the Topanga Mountains all the way to Malibu. It's one of the more scenic and fun drives in LA.
