Somebody try a KA-T emblem looking like the 007 logo. This is what I mean.

Thanks topless94.. I think your idea of a Japanese font or slant is a good one. Very cool looking.

( I can hear the purists whining already--> "but the KA isn't a JDM mooooterrr")...Sigh.

danhall wrote:Thanks Kaleo55 !!! Nice Job ! FINALLY some SERIOUS submissions. I think I like Letter B of your post the best. What say you group.. A, B, or C ?? All you other "sleepers" out there...just "go back to sleep" unless you got some more stuff or input on Kaleo55's post.

Again, thanks Kaleo55.

Hey no problem, I did these keeping in mind that the KA is a USDM motor and purposely stayed away from looking too Asian/Japanese, hence "C" actually has a star in it.Also from a reproduction point of view a design with rough edges or too thin could be problematic for a embossed, stamped or cast emblem.

Here's a reduced version of design A with a different treatment (outter lip) similar to "B". In some respects this version "A" is better suited to trunk placement as it is horizontal in nature. It is basically the same type as "B" but not stacked and swing characters for the K and A. This type is based on "Serpentine" a very popular type face.

Cool idea you guys!

An idea for you....

Why not just have Scott from Fabulous Graphix make them in the form of window stickers... He'll do it for $5 a piece. He's already set up emblems for Versa.org, 240sxconvertible.com, and others...

Just pick your design.. get a nice file together to email him.. and let him do the rest.

I'm really digging the original:

That's funny, and SLEEPER!

- What you got under ur hood?- A Kit Kat... or Ka-t Kit.

To the outsider, it just looks like you really like kitkat bars, which I do. YUMMY!

And to make things simple, and since there will be extremely small orders, why not try http://www.youremblem.com? Thet let you pick any letters you want, and send them to you, oem style/quality. Relatively cheap.

I actually looked into this years ago when I was thinking of going ka-t.

Example on their home page:

maybe they wouldn't ask if you had an emblem.

My cars have always been ALL black. So, if I had to pick it would be "A" in black chrome or regular gloss black if I could add that much. Just not feeling the stacked look.

I would like C the most without the G.I joe star.

A is pretty cool too, but the font is a little too funky for me.

B looks like a GTR badge knock-off. If I saw that on a 240sx, I would laugh.

My car is a "sleeper", but i'd sport one of these.

I liked A and B, when this goes down i'll probably be in.

I am with HaXor on this I really like the emblem, and I am more into the sleeper idea but it is nice to see something other than SI badges everywhere. I mean if you can make big ones for the garage that might be cool too. Just an input.
