Haha, normally I wouldn't comment, but you brought it up in a few other posts so I couldn't resist.

Bourne: At least it HAS spellcheck. I'll never complain about firefox, look at the alternatives...

Anyone near Dayton OH???

New email:

I don’t think our current version of the fog light module will work with the Altima, but we could most likely modify it to work, if there is enough interest.

I’m not sure how easy the window module will be to install. Nissan is making their doors more and more solid every year, which makes it hard to access the necesarry wires. I’m thinking that you can pull the speaker out and get to the wire, but the service manual doesn’t confirm this.

It would be best if we could find an Altima coupe near Dayton, Ohio to do some testing on. Possilby you can post this request on the forum and see if anyone volunteers. We’ll provide free labor with discounted parts for anyone willing to donate some time.[/email]

He also said he's not sure about the navi from the email. So if someone with factory nav could make the trip, that would be great, otherwise, anyone close hit them up!!

Address is here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=...=addrTo email, use [email protected] or let me know and I can give your contact info to Kevin for follow up.

He also sent info which I guess would help with the install:

KP needs to be a sponsor to set up a GB. I emailed them with Greg's contact info so it can be set up. As long as they agree to become a sponsor we will have a GB.

Azure: send them an email saying that you're from Nico, interested in some testing etc, explain what options you have and see what they say, we didn't get into details...

AzureCoupe0888 just left with four working KPtechnologies modules -

1. Remote window roll up2. Remote sunroof open/close3. Independent fog light controller (uses OEM fog light switch to turn on fog lights even if head lights arn't on)4. Mirror tilt module (tilts mirror when car is in reverse, then brings mirror back up automatically).

Honestly, the Altima is a fairly difficult vehicle to work on - most of the wires were hard to get to and hard to splice. We got it though!

the window up module is great IMO... but rememebr, you don't have to get back in the car and start it up... just stick the key in the key hole and turn it, and you will roll the windows up!

not sure if your post was out of sarcasm or a genuine lack of knowledge. In either case, judging by highschoolcoupe's post, not everyone knows that the windows can be rolled down with the fob, and both rolled up and down using the key on the driver's side door.

For some reason, not everyone reads their car manuals when they buy their car... this information is in the car manual!

yup, put the metal key in the door slot and hold it in left to roll up the windows, and right to roll them down.
