GR-2s are basically stock replacement, I would say they are not good dampers for stiff springs. That is probably why it's feeling bouncy..

Agreed, as soon as I found out what shocks they were I looked them up and saw they were only 15% stiffer then stock..

I'm pretty sure my ground controls are at least twice the stock spring rate..great combo

Hey, at least your GR-2s will be gone in 5000miles so you'll have an excuse to upgrade haha

lol, yes indeed. Im not sure how many miles are on them right now, but when I worry about bouncing off the road over every bump its an excuse to upgrade too

I won't take coners very hard right now cause im afraid one bump mid corner will send me flying.

In order to run ground control springs properly, you MUST have custom length koni dampers. Otherwise, you are gonna be sagging the spring, and giving yourself very little compression travel, and a non captive spring at full droop.

I had a highway accident due to a bouncy suspension (wasn't me driving but was my beater..)

I say fix it ASAP, bouncing = freaking scary and dangerous !!

How much are custom?

If GC emails me back and my rates are what I think they are from the numbers on the springs, I think I'll be looking into rsr race springs this summer with either yellows or agx's.

on a side note, do the rsr race springs blow out yellows and agx's? whats a ballpark cost for getting them revalved?

I think the RS*R Race might be a bit stiff for the AGX but on the yellow it should be well within specs..

As for getting Konis revaled...I guess it goes from 100$/shock to 999999$/shock...hard to say !

How would you set the Koni dampers to go with the RS*R Race springs? Is there a chart of how many clicks on the damper should be matched with what kind of springs (in theory at least) ?
