knock sensor

i took my 98 q45t to autozone and they pulled the codes and the 2nd knock sensor is failing and the egr valve is failing and ideas how are it is to fix the problem my self?????? what is all involved in replaceing the knock sensor and diagnosing the problem with the egr valve?

I would first suspect that the EGR is clogged, not that the valve has a problem...

Search the forum for replacement procedures on the KS.

You need to start by downloading and reading the FSM.
