Dude, remember that it is a glass pipe, not a replacement rubber hose. You don't need strings to make the glass stronger, as its probably already strong enough.

I have no doubts as to the durability of this thing, but $150. Only if I had money to throw around.

But eey, rubber hoses have to get replaced sometime. You could think of this as a permanent replacement.

Do not forget that you need to use some kind of coupler (silicon) which adds additional cost to it.

I would consider buying these only when it is time to replace the stockers, but not before then. And by that time we should have enough feedback as to the longevity of the product to make me more at ease with something so weird.

Hey my 20" wheels dont do anything for performance either... And to tell you the truth intake is kinda B/S in my eyes as well... My LEDs make the car go faster, and so do my HID headlights n fogs...

My sponsorship is approved though, and ill take this awesome unique cosmetic mod and run with it because it looks friggin awesome!

If he was really that worried about performance, I think Brian would have opted for the 3.5. Don't get me wrong, this stuff looks like straight a$$, but if he wants it. He can get it. Don't expect warm welcomes for the nuclear reactor under your hood though

Dyno what... the cvt? some clown at the show this weekend was trying to convince me that he got 20hp from his intake... and that it was dynoed to show as such...

Theres a few reasons why i didnt get the 3.5 (availability, price, insurance, gas)...The kicker is its self fulfilling... the car is faster, so ill accellerate faster, and use even more gas, getting tickets which will raise the already higher insurance premium.... I think the best part of the car is the LOOK, and you cant argue with me on that one boss!

Uhhh, Mehdi has a 6 speed. Butt Dyno means you can feel in in the seat of your pants.

You don't HAVE to any of the above. Its and option to accelerate faster and if your stupid and do it in front of a cop, well, you deserve to get a ticket. I haven't gotten 1 ticket in my A/C and I drive 80 average.
