Radial tires vary by design but most street tires are optimized for negative 0.500 degrees camber.......some ultra directional tires are reinforced on inside edge [and have stiffer inner than outer sidewalls] and are set for 1.000 degrees negative camber.

Uh oh, Exar--he said spacers! ;)

I'm curious as to why Jook's rims won't clear Z brakes, do you mean 30mm brakes? (knows this subject has been beaten like a dead horse) From what I've been told by a lot of people is that an offset of 40 (such as the SE 7-spoke s13 rims) will clear 26mm Z brakes.

it greatley depends on spoke design, believe it or not. Just becuase something is 40mm offset or 25mm fofset doesnt amtter if the spoke and hub design arent spaced out enough to not clip the caliper :)make sense?if not, I can explain it a little better in the mroning, its 2am and I am..quite intoxicated...-chetalso: spacer usage get the user beat with a wiffle ball bat...yes, the big red one.

Yeah. I was going to follow up with that, with the example of the Konig Holes, they come in a fwd-offset, but their spoke design looks like it would allow the z-brakes.

gah, at this point, i'm just about to sell my whole z-brake kit

thanks :)

well the big reason y the brakes wont clear my rims is the friggin offset. its at 44 or 47. that plus the fact that the rim is shaped to go inward also doesnt help. im most likely gonna end up selling these, but after the turbo goes on.
