USDM shafted again!

I wonder what else accounts for the weight difference in our US models...

Yea, safety stuff mainly. Different glass, side impact, etc.

Fun fact, the euro and japanese models fog up worse than the american cars. I had atrocious problems with my 200sx, Silvia and 180 we group-shared in Germany fogging up in the morning or after parked for a while compared to the 240sx's on base.

Yea, I've been around every variety of S13 and all of them aside from 240sx's had odd fogging issues. I think it has to do with the glass compound.

Brian, I've got an Emange Blue with all injector and ignition harnesses if you want it. I also have a spare blow off valve and KA MAF. Let me know if there are any goodies that you REALLY need and I might donate some cash too.

You're going to have to put out in Omaha though... I'll book a single king sized bed for us.

Sorry man, all I have is an S13 MAF. I'm pretty sure I had an extra fuel rail (Fiznat's old fuel rail I believe), but its either in RI, or its gone.

I can send you the actual rail marked exactly where the holes need to be drilled hows that? I have the rail stock already, just need to cut it to length then mark the spacing. I may just buy another drill press. The Base is having some kind of big sale on tools. Might as well get myself something for Christmas

Then again...I could buy a plasma cutter. Totally not need, but I have wanted one since I took metal fab in 92

Then I could move on with my S14 Vert project

Just mark it up, do the spacing, and say how big/deep the holes have to be... and it can get done.

The hacked MAF should make it capable of just over 300whp before it maxes out. Then I'll add a CSI if I need to richen the mix any. I do need a S14 MAF to cut up though

lol you are not serious about blowing the tires off at 300whp?

a decent sized t3 makes over 300whp at 12psi..... on a ka and wd has a t4, is this even fair

Oh I'll make more power then Koshin. That's not even in question IMO, but his car weighs like 780lbs less then mine and I weigh 200 if I crap twice and don't eat or drink. That equates to some serious power:weight ratio advantage for the fanboi

agreed, let the wife drive, you know she will launch better than you anyways, via math you need to break 400 hundy and make a great launch.

wd's car need a diet. take the car seats out

will that t4 even be efficient at 12psi

LOL...let the wife drive...hahahaha...NO. She stalls when she goes through the main gate on base FFS...lol. She's great at auto...

As far as a diet goes, I'll take out things that I can. My amps/speakers/etc are all going to be removable by design. But everything else is staying. This is my daily driver, cold AC, fully intact interior that's immaculate for a 1995 and it even has a heavy sun roof. I'm not messing anything up just for a race. Then again...I don't think I'll need to

Yup, and if it wasn't, Brian would just boost until it was. Don't underestimate him.
