Nah, once I start I don't stop until the end. I'm not a big fan of "interuptus"...

Sure you can. All you need is for that 2.0 to rev to 18k RPMs

I prefer the sr over the ka24de but both have there pro's and con's I think there should be dyno drag and a circuit test , but hen it still goes to the better driver i cant wait til you guys get this rolling . Its funny dsport is doing this same battle but different chassis . Cant wait to see what happens .

Hard to have a circuit and a drag contest and build the car for either one more then the other. Most circuit cars are far slower in the 1320 and most drag cars...well they usually end up in the grass when venturing out onto the circuit...lol. Especially with 275/60's out back.

I drag far more often then I'll even see a road course, but I'd love to have a car designed to do both well. Just requires more money then I have right now.

I may end up having to switch my setup all around. The turbine wheel on turbo I'm planning on using is trashed. Pits and chips all over the blades. Since I'd be welding the manifold and everything based around that turbo, I have to look for a cheap turbo to use, or explore other options. Kinda puts me behind the power curve as I have to pull my transmission back out and do a bunch of other crap still.

I need to get busy...lol.

nothing is indestructible; i bet you i could throw 500shot 2 stage wet and turn the boost up to 50psi and well KA BOOOM lol

And to the above post about American um Nissan is not American so that was just useless .And as a matter of fact Almost everything these days has a non American part in it some where .

I don't know at this point man. My TO4 has a bad turbine wheel. So I'll either be buying a used Holset or using a supercharger. We'll see what happens over the next month.

I just had to spend a bunch of cash on my plumbing

No motor is bullet proof, not the SR and not the KA. Either motor can make 500 whp with some internals and a decent tune. It's not even difficult really, add fuel and boost and your only real limit is octane.

So i exaggerated a little...It should be bullet proof for its application...which is DD at about 300WHP. Just need to find a good tuner in Vancouver...

True. Oddly enough, Toyota is the most Canadian auto manufacture...Although Nissan does do a lot of manufacturing in the USA. In one of those "I" states...

The KA is bullet proof with factory internals up to 350 easy, but so is the SR. My whole argument has always been that the SR isn't a better motor. Definitely not enough to warrant swapping out the KA. There are FAR better options when swapping is considered

I agree. If i am going through the trouble of a swap then im putting in a V6 or I6.

V8 2 stroke...can you imagine how obnoxious that would sound? Ear splitting death would probably be a accurate description.

I'd rather make my own methane fuel from recycled pig s*** then use a CXRacing turbo. But you know that

The cx turbo's aren't as bad as people make them out to be. Mines lasted me like 6000miles thus far. for 150 bucks that's worth it in my book.

Remember there was a time when people used to say stuff like that about japanese cars haha. Different scenario i know but still.

Brian, I've got an M62 supercharger w/a clutch off of a CLK230 I'd let you borrow. I'm sure you could handle building the bracket, but you'd have to figure out a crank pulley. I bought it to use on my wife's Miata, but she's decided she just wants to rebuild the motor and sell it, so unless I get crazy and put a huge turbo on my CA18 and use the supercharger to spool it, IDK that I'll have a use for it anytime soon. I got it for super cheap, so I'm not real worried about it.

Someone say v8 2-stroke? Here is a video of a 3.6 liter 2-stroke v8 in a sand-rail making dyno runs:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRKeuHyI0lw
