I like the overwhelming support for the KA... or maybe its just support for Brian.
Mr1der wrote:yeah...this is worthless without stipulations...

bragging rights are cool and all..but I wanna see one of you wearing a dress.

well, besides the one WD's currently wearing.

my money's on KA-T. If it'll hook up, torque off the line will wax that a**.
I dunno, I actually think the SR will take Brian off the line. The SR car is much much lighter and might even make more power down low due to the smaller turbo. Really the only thing that has me worried is the fact that its an 1/8 mile course. I'd feel much more comfortable if it were 1/4.

And stipulations... that could get dangerous

You do realize that a sr makes 51 more hp and 44 more torques stock right?

KA-POWer!!! I love all Nissan engines but in this situation KA24DE-T FTW This thread excites me. I'm sure WDracing can do way better than that little vid.

I love the hype for a KA-T that isnt even running yet...

my setup has been going for a year now and has been proven time and again...

I hear ya man, I'm not a big fan of the 1/8 mile. I'd much rather race you in the 1/4. But it's all in good fun

I was thinking about running my 89 K5 down the 1/8 I can pick up a used HC1 Holset and just flip the headers upside down and run a cross pipe Then again...that old slushbox might throw in the towel effectivly stranding me in Nebraska

This is gonna be wicked fun.

It may, both of these contests end at about the same time next year, so they may coinside with each other as far as the results go.

Regradless, I am really eager to see how these both turn out. Should be very interesting. My money is on the KA as of now

Yeah I was hoping to see more SR fanbois in here, they are so funny when they get defensive...and I hope that SR of yours is strong. I hope both cars are beastly come summer.

I just need to remember to bring my camera and take plenty of pics of your face after you lose. Those will be memories I won't soon wanna forget

I hope he shows up making decent power just so its interesting....

assuming the tire choice is similar (which it will be, weve spoken), hes still gonna have to put down over 350 whp just to keep up...its a tall order on the equipment he SAYS hes gonna utilize; due to the weight difference of the two machines

I think you guys assume I have no idea whats going on, which is laughable....I cant wait for this to go down

first off, who are you? noob

secondly, if this is gonna turn into an all out d!ck-swinging match I need to know...

the point of this venture was to see what a stock head/bottom SR vs. KA...

if he shows up making 500 whp, the whole thing will be a bust...

he knows what kind of power my car makes, I have been honest from the get go....

Ive raced 5 dozen KA-T's....non of which out ran me, made more power than me....and over half never made it down the track

I have had a hatred for KA-T's for many many moons....much how all but two people in this thread hate SRs...

If I had a KA-T, Id hate SRs as well....it must be tough getting the s*** kicked out of you by a motor that is pretty stock...especially coming to the realization that youve spent a lot of hard earned money on a hunk of s***...

dont hate me becasue of it

HA!

that goes for you two fazian...hows your car running bro?

Ooooof

Happy Holidays
