ka24e transmission on a ka24de

i have a 93 240 with ka24de and i know the ka-e transmission bolts on the DE but would a 1 piece driveshaft for the DE work with the E transmission.is there a length difrence between the two?and also will the DE trany crossmember work with the E transmission.
