its a good idea, thats been discussed, however you would need to find a way to divert exhaust gasses away from the smaller turbo into the larger once it has passed its efficiency.you would basically be using the smaller turbo to spool the larger more quickly. you might as well supercharge it for instant on boost...and when your giant hairdryer size turbo finally spools you can get serious boost.
