The reason you see so many SR's drifting and hardly any Ka-T's is because its alot easier to buy an SR than to build a Ka-T, and most people when they finally do finish their Ka-T's they dont want to mess them up by drifting the shizzle out of them. If you want to drift you can drift anything thats RWD. If you suck at drifting you suck end of story. Changing engines isnt going to help you. GG newby
When is turboing a ka hard? I can probably do it blindfolded, as long as the oil pan is taken care of and someone hand me the bolts and nuts and piping is already cut to length. I've had to put back on IC pipe with a 1/4 ratchet and hands just up under the fender while on the side of the road...KA-T is so freaking simple. Biggest PIA is the oil pan if you remove and then of course your clutch will go soon. Also the emissions is sometimes stubborn, but PB blaster solves that. All KA-T swaps should begin with a nice coating of PB blaster on every nut you have to turn. Drifitng is all about the driver. I mena Nick Hogan has crashed how many cars that were specifically set-up for drifting? The driver has to be comfortable. When ever I messed around wiht my ka-t I would blip the throttle in between going from 4kishup to 5800ish
