Razi, I'm betting a chicken sandwich that you're making 263 whp and 267 tq.

I want to up my boost as well...right now i'm only running 6 psi :( . I had it at 10 for a little while but that's close to the limit of the 370cc/stock mafs combo. Maybe if I get a controller on the cheaps I'll turn it up to 8 or 9.

That would be a very satisfying amount of power. :D
10psi would be pretty awesome.

I'll buy you a sammich if you ever come down here, haha.

Nice, car is going to look sick with those wheels. Different too. I finally installed my Autometer gauge angle kit (like you have Razi). My vent plate was just brushed aluminum, but after I enlarged the openings for the angle, I sanded it, primed it, and painted it satin black. Looks pretty good I think. I bought the kit months ago though. Man school and work sucked all my time away, but hey, for the last 3 weeks they've only been giving one day (yes one) a week on the schedule. Sucks balls and with my school schedule dropping down to one day a week, I've got lots of time now, just no freaking expendable income.

Yay!

One thing I've been thinking about was buying another set of gauge/vent adapters and angle rings.
Then instead of painting them black, I rip some vinyl off of a junkyard car's dashboard, and cover the gauge plate with it.
That should make it blend in better.

Dude! That would be totally awesome! Especially if you could find some vinyl that was the same of similar color as a stock black 240sx interior. It is a great idea bc it's really hard to not scratch the paint finish on the plate when you're installing and trying to line up all of the gauges.

Yeah, next time I drop by, I'll take off a piece!
I see a lot of 240s with cracked black dashboards at the junkyard.
Moto said the Maxima's anti-glare side view mirrors snap onto the S13 so I'll take those too!

Btw, Moto, do you know any sunvisors that might fit on our cars?
I hate the stock one, the foam inside mine has pretty much disintegrated so I don't even want to bother reupholstering it.

i think i have a set of stock s14 mirrors laying around still. if i remember right they are in good condition too. if not there are 3 s13's at our junk yard right now. one is a vert just got there. there is also a single that had a huge wing and an invader body kit, and a dohc automatic with all poly bushings.

and ya my friend used the maxima mirrors on his car. while you are getting the parts out of the maxima, you might as well pick up an n60 MAF. they are good for more power and can be had cheap.

i just got a turbo at our junk yard today. its the same turbo i already have (turbonetics T4 on center). it was on an 86 chevy blazer diesel with an aftermarket turbo kit (wasnt offered turbo). the thing is so fresh. no shaft play. i actually knew a few of the previous owners. my old boss bought it new and put the turbo on it. and it was building 12 psi with no wastegate and then he sold it to my old coworker and then a buddy of mine bought it a few years ago and i had been eying the turbo since then. when he had it, it was only making 7 psi non wastegated. so the turbo was never worked and is great. im stoked. cant wait to clean it! ill post pics when i do.

spooled...
you ever ridin a bike? i used to have an 02 yamaha R6. it was a blast and also if you dont know what your doing then you might want to start with something a little smaller. (i know there will be people to argue that) but the bikes are soooo fun

Hmm, I think I'll wander around the junkyard one day, and try to see if I can find some good looking visors that fit on our cars.
I think someone once modified an SC's visor to fit his S14.

Which junkyard do you work at?

Once I lurked to the "employee's only" part of a junkyard because they had some interesting cars in there.
They kicked me out. :(

The car is gold, the visors are gray. They are in ok shape, no holes or anything but the vinyl is slightly "puffed".

That's weird that your visors are shot Razi. Mine are still in good shape (except for the mirror flaps) and can easily be recovered. Guess I lucked out there. Going to start looking for another job again this week. I can't live off of one day a week nonsense.

Wait...WD, is this a parts car? I might be interested in the front 5 lug stuff haha.

As for the black wrapping material stuff, I re-covered my glove box with material from JoAnne's fabric store, it's black and textured exactly like the dashboard, but it's vinyl. I also wrapped my center console lid with it when I added padding to it, I'll take a picture next time I'm in my car so you all can see.

I got the passenger side 5 lug done, the driver's side is being stubborn. I have everything off including the 4 hub bolts, but the hub is seized to the upright. I even had a hub puller but it didn't work due to it's poor design, so i resorted to bolting the rotor on backwards and hitting it with a hammer. Any tips on how to get the hub unstuck?

ATF + Acetone 50/50 mix.
I heard those work wonders.
Just don't get any on yourself. :P

What I did for mine was, I got one of my socket wrench extensions and pointed it down onto the side of the hub and whacked it with a hammer until the hub rotated inside the upright.
Then I started yanking on the hub.
I did that until it popped off.

Thanks for the tips Razi, I'll try that mix tomorrow, as well as hit where you suggested. I tried hitting there for like 10 seconds, but I wasn't using an extension so all I did was bend my brake dust shield :(

Dudez.
I just realized my timing is a bit off at idle.
I also have my idle at around 850rpm, I probably should adjust the idle before adjusting my timing right?
