Dover...you know, the F'n capital of Delaware! Jesus Adrian! All the progressiveness making you a bit ratahded?

Just retiring from the USAF, still haven't hit 40 yet. Although Kate hits 40 in June this year. Buying a nice place with some acreage up in PA so I can prep for the end of days. I hope it's zombies...

So dumb mistake by me. Did not know S14 differentials used bushings on the front mounts. Now I have order. 7 years on here and no clue. Fail.

I have been hearing alot of dislike for energy suspension bushings. Enjuku sells a oem set for 70+ship with hardware. Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of any solid mounts. The S14 is clearly an advanced chassis by all comparisons :poke:

I thought about that! But read there was a decent amount of noise with poly mounts. I'm now second guessing whether I should install my ES master bushing set.

The noise occurs when the bushings aren't properly lubed.

Pop-ups are the raddest.

I doubt you'll get much noise from the diff bushings as long as there is adequate lube. ;)

Proper lube is a lesson for many things in life.

The problem is the lube runs dry, and we all know that leads to.... friction... ouch. I don't want to remove the bushings to relube every time they get squeaky.

I'll hold off on the ES kit. Not sure what i'll go with, probably some rubber replacement bushings in the future. What I have now isn't terrible at 150k miles, I just thought i'd change them to the ES bushings...

Also- i'm very excited to run my Cibie lights, so +1 for pop-ups.

I just don't like how the pop-ups take away from the aerodynamics. I don't know if it can be done on a 240 but I like when some people remove pop-ups and install the recessed GT class style lights. A lot of people do it on the Rx7s

Greasing poly bushings sucks, the grease is real thick and gets on everything. Don't drop a bushing after you have greased it either or else you'll be forced to install a poly hair ball....

Ok so I wired up my new 12ga wiring harness, oh...my...goodness. Like 4 hours of soldering, heat shrinking, making sure the correct wires were routed...installing then... They work though! Need to get them adjusted, just have to drive somewhere flat with a wall. My driveway is at a major incline
Cibie H4 w/ Narva 90w/100w bulbs. Should be awesome.

How is the track at Carlisle? I might head up there, it'd be a fun road trip. Any excuse to burn up some tires is a good one!

Ok so I have a denso o2 sensor and a fitting I overlooked for my fpr(so I can install my fuelab fpr) being shipped. Which do you think will solve my rich cruise issue?

Symptoms- random richness while cruising, between 11-12:1 at times it will try and "hunt" between 13:1 - 16:1, but mostly just rich cruise. Idle will mostly idle 14.2:1 but goes rich on.occasion too. I have never had a wide and on the car, except when it was tuned, so this may be a long occurring issue. Haven't done any full wot pulls but when boost hits it stays a solid 11-11.5:1.

Thoughts?

New O2 should help and it's always good having a solid fuel pressure.
