Billy did race him on the street, this friday night im goin to race him at the track. My car wont be completely stock though. It will have a header, short ram intake, and the auto ecu with the timing bumped up a little. I try not to race on the streets anymore, i like to keep it safe and do it at the track. God gave me my car and my life and i gotta respect that.

i care about beating a stock miata in a stock sohc if someone says i cant do it. The stickers were put on my 240 long ago, it looks nothing like that now, thanks for the compliment though. no seriously, some folks love big nasty bodykits with holes that look designed to ingest small animals and stickers that cover up the majority of their lime green paint, while others like JDM ****, adn others like clean USDM ****, and some people are just cheap/poor and have vehicles to reflect that. to each his own

i went to the track friday night and jerry with the miata didnt show. Im leaving to Houston soon so i guess ill have to find another guy with a stock miata.

Does that mean a MOD can lock this thread now? I read the 2 pages of nonsense and...along with the ricers thread, was a complete and utter waste of time.

Now as a new NICO member myself and just investing in a 240, it bothers me how the old and the new seem to "clash" so-to-say...but I understand why given these types of discussions. Doesn't it go to say when racing the car doesn't PWN a damn thing, its all about the driver? Maybe thats besides the point, maybe its rule of thumb....

I just want to stick up for the new members that don't wanna be viewed as the "bad examples" such as myself. I'd hate for bad politics to have a negative effect on how I enjoy this forum, but thats just me, personally.
