i wasnt being a wiseguy between the na ka and sr i see no real difference. yes im ignorant

if i was building up a fast na 240 i would def look at hondas engines, also considering you have the time and skill, a honda powered SX could be really unique and fun.

Well whatever u decide on keep us posted, id love to see a highish HP na SX.

200whp kas are found using race gas. I doubt you actually want to run race gas, based on what I've read so far, so you're probably not going to be reaching that 200whp goal with a ka. That said- a well built 170-180whp ka with matching torque would probably suit you just fine. Throw out a bit of extra weight and you won't notice the 20-30hp you're missing. I've not seen much info on NA SRs (not that I've really looked, mind you). I doubt they have much in the way of aftermarket support (high compression SR pistons? probably not many). But if you can source a SR20VE, 200whp is probably attainable. I'd love to see it actually.Personally, I'm sticking with my KA- I've spent more than I care to admit, but I like it.

well look at this..someone who has some experience with the ka..thanks ajax, i feel pretty confident that the ka is capable of at least 190whp without race gas...just gotta find the magic combo to make the engine what it should have been lol. i have been watching your build and cant wait to see some dyno numbers. i am sure your car will be a blast. thanks for the info and i welcome your advise. good luck and as soon as i get rid of the 300z (its for sale or trade-hint hint ppl) i am gonna do a few cosmetic things first and try to find a spare long block. good luck with your build and thanks again
