First of all, you need to think about your power goals and how much you want to spend. Then you need to think about what type of driving do you want to do: Drag strip, Autocross, Street. That will help you decide about your power band whether you want all high top end, or more mid range to top, or even low end. The size of the turbo will help to determine this with the smaller (t25) turbos giving massive lower end power and the larger (t3/t4, t4) turbos giving either more mid to upper mid range or top end power. Then start pricing out the parts and reading installs and find out if you want to pay someone to do it or do it yourself.
