wow 26" thanks I would have bought less. Just purchased a 3/4" id fitting for the pan at ACE hardware. Seems to be just about the same size as the fitting that attaches to the turbo. Time to get out the old dremel.

How high up to I need to mount it so that it will be above the oil level when the pan is full?

easiest way is to put 4 qts of water in the pan and see where the level is, while the engine is running there won't be that much in there anyway- but i drilled mine just above the 4 qt mark (just below the bottom of the tray). You may not need that much hose either, it depends on where you mount the turbo and how you route it. try measuring with a oiece of heater hose, then go get the good stuff.

When are you guys going to DPA again? Thats pretty close by to me, though I generally try to avoid it. All the cops take the fun out of it- that and i really try not to race on crowded streets...as i hope we all do if we street race at all. But would definatly be down for meeting some more 240 enthusiasts. Drop me a line- or i'll just keep checking in on the website. Thanks

LongIsland240 wrote:Thanks, I wanted a really clean install- make it look like it came that way was one of my goals. FMIC is black and barely visible unless you're up close, and i plan on a quiet exhaust- nothing loud...Borla maybe- anybody here have one on theirs? How does it sound?

I already have the MSD, so not getting it is kind of out of the question. I do plan on getting an SAFC and injectors and VLSD before spring....more high maintinence than the girlfriend...not quite as *****y though- and that makes it all worth it.:D

I use a Borla from the boomer series and i love it!

I'll see if i can, they actually t out from under my coldpipe, so not in the best picture taking spot....but i'll give it a shot next day off.- In an update on the project, i went to 6 psi today, finished and isulated the downpipe, and slipped on the borla to see the sound it will have- very nice...imo. She feels real fast at 6 psi..can't wait for some more, but first fuel inj and afc....I don't trust the fmu for more than this. :D
