Well, I havent actually dnoe much as far as the drive train. There isnt a whole lot out there to go with for that matter. I usually just fix stuff when I break it. Ive found that the weakest link on the 240 is the transmission. When I blew up my diff it was because the PG LSD fell apart inside it.

MikeMurphy, Its kind of getting boring...and loud.

IvanAtSPRacing wrote:Awesome numbers. I got an IM from Norbert and a phone call from Ryan today about it. It still amazes me that the KA takes to boost so well. I am sure that eventually people will realize that with a good tunable engine management system, the KA is reliable and will produce a TON of power. Now if we can only convince others to stay away from band-aid fuel systems (FMU, injectors / AFC, etc) so they dont blow their KA-Ts up, maybe this motor might not be looked at so unfairly.

Again, congrats.
Soooo.. you reccomend the emanage to tune?

Piggybacks are only a bandaid, and eventually a band aid will wear out/fail and there will be consequences for that.

Im not sure, we were short handed at the dyno so I ended up driving the car while on the dyno, and ralph ended up doing the tuning so I wasnt able to look at the duty cycle....but its getting up into the high 80's now. Switching to 96lbers soon and hardwired dual walbro's.

Rick, I've meant to to say somthing but have been wicked busy. I'm totally impressed with the numbers my friend. Who says a log mani can't produce. Your thread has given me some inspiration to hurry up and get in the game. I'm sending my TO4 in for a rebuild this week, TO4E, 60-1 compressor with a .81 AR, will be laggy but great for drag. I'll have a touch of the giggle gas for the lag issue though. Enough about my POS, Congrats again.

I was just talking to a guy who builds the harnesses and whatnot for Link. He mentioned he could get me a really good deal. But I'm wishy washy as of yet. Think I'll get her started and then upgrade.

full boost at 4500ish rpm, depends on the gear and how hard I lug it there, also depends on pump gas map or race gas map, the race gas spools faster, because of the timing we give it down low. With thie turbo, ive said it once and I will say it again, it absouletly lights up and takes off all at once....figure, 4000rpm im at like 1 or 3 psi, then at 4500 I can be at 20 and at 5000 im at 36 psi with the wastegate open.
