LOL, thanks WD. It's nice to be back here regularly after really only lurking over the winter. I didn't have much money or drive to work on my car, so coming here too much just depressed me. Now it's nice out, and I'm starting to prep for Carlisle (Someone's gotta rep KA-T! )

Please do not turn the boost past 7. And to tell you the truth i think 7 is pushing it. I have a tuned emanage and 370's and i refuse to go past 5 psi, until i swap 5 speed and use my efi specailist tune.

man after my own heart.

Deals a deal, if you look me up on ka-t.org, pm me and I'll give you my number. Easier to talk about it than type it out with out pics to show.

First jack car up and put on stands, preferably blocks under the tires. Completely remove sway bar. Remove gusset plates. Remove the bottom motor mount nuts (make sure your sockets fit snugly, else you may round out the nut), and remove your trans mount nuts (edit, only the nuts that hold the trans to the mount, not the nuts that hold the mount to the car). Use your jack to raise the motor to where its touching the trany well. Remove 10mm bolts holding the pan on. Try to get a razor or something thin between the pan and block to cut thru the old liquid gasket (PITA if it was done right previously) Use a box wrench to remove the oil pickup (dont loose the gasket between the pan and block). Remove pan out the front. Clean all old liquid gasket off pan and block, clean inside of pan with acetone or at a car wash with pressure sprayer. Put pan back up an make sure where you are about to drill doesn’t block one of the pan bolts and will be angled right when you weld the new fitting on. Drill the pan with appropriate hole saw, weld the fitting on, rinse pan out with water to get shavings out. RTV the pan, slide it and the pickup back to where you can have the pickup in the pan but still bolt it up. Maybe better to put RTV on the front half of the pan after the pickup is bolted in. Bolt pan on, bolt gussets on, lower engine, put motor mount nuts and trans back on, attach oil return line, get car of blocks, done.

I know I've seen a picture guide to this and I'll post if if no one else does first.
