That is the problem with it.... your adding AIR into the intake system AFTER the maf... the maf did not read that air so that extra added air is being pushed into your motor unmonitored... the O2 sensor then see's the lean condition (too much air not enough fuel) then adjusts amount of fuel added causing the rich condition. fix the IACV and that should fix part of the problem.Florida240sx wrote: I need to route my IACV to in front of my throttle body to fix my high rev, currently it is preturbo/after mafs.Will that also fix my rich condition.
I disagree. If the IACV line is downstream of the MAF, then whatever air goes into the IACV line has been metered. Also, the ECU doesn't even look at the O2 sensor voltage @ idle. And the ECU also doesn't change the mixture enough under closed loop to go from 14.7:1 all the way to 9:1. That's a very broad sweep that just won't happen.wild_maxx wrote:
