Its just stupid kids like to rice out the civics and think they have the fastest car in the world... they give bad name to the car. If you look at Honda in general and forget about all the rice they build very nice cars and VTEC is a wonderful technology. It's just idiots like to say i got a VTEC and i will smoke your car or something like that.

That's typical.. I seen a stock SI get took by an SE-R Spec V stock. Civics are great cars but when you start fooling with the engine. You got to know what you're really doing.

not that i dont have any respect for hondas there r some out there that i have drewald overe and would love to have but most of them r not worth the efert to race and wast the time on and chance getting a ticket overe at least here in my town unless there being a real a$$ about there car being better then i will take it to the streets just to shove there stupid walmart honda in there face where did walmart think there could get away with selling these so called perfomance parts anyway from what i have seen there just stock parts with a new look do nothing for power o well i dont shop there much i wish they would let some of these smart a$$ honda guys into the nationals so we could put them in there place. lol

have we sunk so low that now we discuss honda, civic, v-tech? the tragedy. the bottom line is a 240 can be faster than any honda.(maybe not the nsx) As far as your run the other night charlie240sxt, i'd say you did pretty good

too uninformed. when the nsx debuted it got walked all over by the rx7s in the circuit. and not only the nsx is a capable car but even integra type rs a 17,000$ production stock-stock car can beat many cars such as the mr2 gts, s14 silvia, fto, and even the impreza wrx gc8. most guys have big egos like "oh i drive this it must the greatest car in its class" i used to be like that and like the 240 most.

i think most people should research more into things before commenting.

s2000, civic, integra are all great honda cars. the type rs came with sporty recaro seats, carbon fiber dash pod trims, titanium shift knobs, stock momo steeringwheels, decent looking 16" wheels, nice strut bars and many other things. why do most nissan owners hate on it so much? it handles great and produces great laptimes with lesser hp than most of the other cars out there. looks decent and is a cheap production sports car.

and anyway i dont really care too much about what car is faster than what in a straight line its not as much skill to own cars in the straights versus in circuit. kind of boring racing nearo stock(maybe some basic bolt ons) cars vs other cars with similar setups. whats the point? ahhh im getting wet im 3 cars ahead of him oh my god its so much fun... you pretty much know the outcome its driver vs driver then hp/weight typically. about i have more fun playing checkers but thats my opinion besides its not safe what if an old lady is jay walking. any car is fine for me i dont really need horsepower. i chose the 240 for its looks and not too much because of its capabilities. since most of us here like to drift or want to drift. whats the whole point of going turbo or sr etc. i guess only 86 owners realize that they bought the car pretty much for drift and that hp isnt as necessary.

I don't think people hate the cars themselves, rather the sort of people who drive them. For example, where im from all the snotty kids drive mustangs down here, when I see one, unless it's an adult driving, I think automatically thats its someones mom or dad bought them that car and think it's the coolest thing in the world and then they start a trend. Same thing with civics and alot of camaro's. Funny thing is I bought my 93 stock 240 with my own cash and smoke everyone one of them after school except for 1 hooked up camaro. It's pretty sad and pathetic because you keep beating them and they still have excuses anyway point is alot of them really are great cars its just the sort of people who get atracted to them.
