I just noticed that ksport has coilovers for 08+ Altimas... Not sure if they mean the sedan or the coupe but they're listed at $1400.

I'm def getting these guys... Nice.

But yeah, can the mods take some steps on our behalf to start at least investigating a group buy?

The rules are pretty strict concerning member involvement in such things, and that means that mods need to be more active.

Are K-sports coilovers up to par now? I remember back when they first came out, people complained they blew out within a few months. Anyone with recent experience or knowledge on these?

Hey guys, take it easy.. all i can do is email the companies with a quick 1 pager.. if they dont answer or dont have interest in being part of NICO.. thats THEIR issue.. not mine, nor any other moderator's for that matter.

If i get any response from K-Sport, you will be the first to know.

yo LBC if ksport dont answer back try these guys....it says they'll have the lowest prices garaunteed for them coilovers and theyre already part of NICO. Or try both and see which will give us the best deals.

HAHAHAHA... see after all that.. we get a nice reach-around.. im on it!

MVP Motorsports is a NICO sponsor, and Rob there takes care of business.. I just reached out to him and i expect he will get back to me shortly (remember SEMA is going on).

I no longer see any issues in the way of getting us a sweet deal on these! For Akademiks way to go man! Im sure MVP will make us happy!

MVP RESPONDS!

Guys there gonna be a GB as long as we can get 10+ orders... $1400 List price goes down to .... THE LOWEST PRICE.... Email Robert at MVP to get the ball rolling... [email protected]

Or post on his Advertisers Special page... zer...overs

There will probably be a 50% deposit required to put yourself on the list, and what will happen is once the 10 deposits is reached... then the order will be made and parts will begin to ship out!

Please, email Robert for more info and under no circumstances is "rockbottom" price to be mentioned on this thread.

I dont wanna see any crapping on mods/admins guys, it doesnt get anything done... remember, you get more bees with honey then you do with vinegar!

LET THE GB BEGIN!

I would first like to thank everyone for considering MVP for your group buy and am more than happy to help you guys out.

I'm sure a couple people seen the price posted by longbeachcoupe but I asked that it be taken down per KSport advertising policy. We cannot advertise their products at below 25% off list price but I can assure you it will be a much larger % off than that for the group buy . We will need a 10 minimum group buy and 50% deposit will be necessary to place your order. Once we have reached 10 the remaining 50% will be due.

Feel free to email me at [email protected] or call me here at the shop to get your quote or place your deposits!! 940-683-8282.

Regards,Robert

Also on a side note about KSport quality. I personally use these on my S14 and will soon be purchasing a set for my IS300. The main cause of failures is due to inproper methods of lowering. Please refer to the following illustration I made a while back:

That is the reason you see so many Tein Basics blow when people slam their car. The basics do not have adjustable lower perches whereas all KSport models do. To get adjustable lower perch on most coilovers you can expect to pay well into the 1k range.

arrg. the last couple months I've went a little crazy on car parts.

I want to drop my car, but I want coilovers so I can raise it alittle in the winter. The problem is I'm saving up to buy a condo in the spring and a vacation to europe in the summer.

Robert could you please email me the shipping cost to postal code N2L 3G1 to [email protected]

What's the difficulty level for installing 1-10?

Will any custom fabrication be required?

That would be about 3 really fat chicks (300lbs +or-) One in the front and two in the back... That is if they can squeeze past the seat and the door jamb

I really really want these!!!!
