Heath....now that is a true die hard Q lover asking if the Q made it into the show. I wish it had, but it did not. Show airs on Sundays the Women entertainment network on @10pm eastern time.

Man, I wish i had known. I'd have had you slap a NICO sticker on your shirt.

THEN you'd be gettin' some play! :)

okay now...back to the subject.....

Greg...how do you like the JWT ECU??? Just curious if your thoughts were similar to my thoughts...as I think for $600+ I was expecting a little more bang for the buck...but it definetly offers some more Hp that I so desire....

Ditto.

Nice, but not worth the $ that I can tell thus far.

I haven't disconnected my battery or any such nonsense either, not sure if I really need to.

Definitely a boost above 3K, but lately my "kickdown" is lagging (does that make sense)?

We'll see what it translates to at the track this weekend.

Sounds like that resistor the guy sells on EBAY, but it would have to work opposite of his (it enrichens) . R & D sounds dangerous without the proper tools (IE Consult, electronic knowledge) but I bet it would work. With the sun behind me at WOT I can see a cloud of exhaust particles -freaked me out at first.

BTW that chick isn't so bad looking at least by Wiskonsin standards, all the women at dating sites up here have the Extra Pounds box checked (flesh apron alert!).

Maybe "adjust" the kick down button under the gas pedal higher?I keep meaning to play with mine (kick down button) to find out what happens.

Just a off/on switch [kickdown failsafe] to signal tcu as a backup for TPS voltage.

Since a Q [90-95] doesn't have an ambient air temp sensor in intake..........there is no place to trick the ecu.

The Q uses the AC on signal as an indication that it is warm outside [>75F] plus an aggressive coolant temp program to function similar to air temp and relies on MAF voltage with no backup to a greater degree than engine with air temp sensor.

Allowing your coolant to rise above 195F [as measured at head output] is very very deterimental to performance.

Not much you can jiggle or fool if you have AC on!AC ambient sensor is ~~ 1510 ohms at 95F and 2190 ohms at 77F so you might try a variable 600 ohm resistor in series to see if you can still get cold air with a faked up outside temp reading.Careful the blower automatic speed is a partial function of the outside ambient sensor reading.

I wouldn't try to fool the system more than 10F [38 ohms per F] so 380 ohms more or less [why I suggest a variable resistor= potentiometer].

So adjustment won't affect the kickdown point?

RE: point #2. -Once again my hopes for cheap HP dashed by superior knowledge!

yeah...I can't believe that Steph is in the lead 31% for "true" romance. Ugghh!!! These producers of these shows are something else. Thank God I never did the dinner date with her that they so desparately wanted......wait until the next or last episode with her and I walking off into the distance on the beach that they set us up. Steph was enjoying it all so much, but for me I was just having fun. You should see some of the girls getting d_cked over by the guys on ths show...it is funny to see how much crap they put up with....and then there is me who was played like a true sucker by the producer being directed what to say, do, act, etc. all for the ratings as I think Steph and I are the only ones that they claim end up being together happily in the end of the show with all the other girls still single.

Greg....my thoughts exactly for the JWT ECU. Hope your track times show better numbers.
